One of the best ways to become better at the game (at least imo) is to play every run. Working out of tough spots improves your play. But ye he was in for a rough time

I've been binge watching so many of your videos since I picked up Balatro. I usually have a video on in the background while playing. It was a little surprising to hear you talk about some of the negativity you've been encountering on KZfaq. Such a shame to hear. Love hearing you talk through plays and explain cards. Red card was always good, it's just the orange stake pack cost inflation made it hard to use at higher stages. Other than that it's a better scaler than even pants or flash card.

Im curious, why not hold onto bad planets and tarots when selling them doesnt get you to interest? Having them in inventory blocks them in the shop and packs so seems worth it to hold them when selling doesnt give you anything.

37:30 Yeah. Only reaso I see that is "kinda legitimate" here to hack this game (one dev, low price) is if you're not able to access your money, meaning you're probably under 15. And I believe there are other games more worth hacking at that age

I actually think that theres very little correlation between sales loss and piracy, as proven by the guy who pirated the game and is now seeking to purchase it legally. It's quite common, actually. I'm guilty of doing so myself. Regardless, though, the correct answer is: "Even if your progress doesn't carry over, don't you think they've earned your money? At the very least, you can buy the game and go back to playing the pirated version, but maybe your progress will carry over." Do I think it is the dev's concern to make sure it is converted? No. Do I think the chatter was asking "do you think the devs will convert it over for me if I ask them?" Also no. Will the progress convert over? Probably, for the third time, no. But let's not stand on a high horse. I've torrented probably 8 games in my life. 6 of them I bought. 1 I can't buy as I do not live in JP and am not a legal resident and therefore cannot sign up for their weird service thing, and 1 I dont want to buy on grounds of what the game was, morally depraved, vile, and unacceptable, but my morbid curiosity seeded in me a desire to see what the game was. I will not share the name or even type of the game, I will not incentivize anyone else's curiosity, the game deserves to die in obscurity.

It got buffed indirectly. Orange stake no longer increases the price of card packs making red card usable in orange and gold stake.

The booster pack costs no longer scale for orange/gold stake

Red card itself didn’t change but Orange stake was reworked entirely. The Booster packs no longer increase in price each ante which makes red card usable on Gold stake runs now.
