I love how when you get to play as John, dead eye, the death screen, and the soundtrack changes to RDR1’s original material. The fan service is amazing in this game.

While it doesn’t sell as well as Grand Theft Auto, the Red Dead series, from a narrative standpoint, I think is far superior to any Grand Theft Auto game. I definitely love it more than GTA.

I've noticed the songs that are for John (mainly this and American Venom) are alot more high energy and intense than the og versions in Red Dead Redemption. Its almost like this is the start of John becoming that badass gunslinger, and the original red dead is a worn and older version of the tunes to show John's aging, both physically and mentally That or Woody Jackson though more trumpets sounded rad Either way thIS IS A JAM

This is a cool soundtrack on its own, but when you’re a person that had played the original game for years, and then you hear this in the Epilogue, it’s just overwhelmingly more epic. You’re seeing John Marston turn into the man you loved for an entire game in this mission and American Venom.

Such a perfect mission. It shows what a hardcore gunslinger John does to a group of untrained henchmen that are used to bullying farmhands. The comments from fellow farmhands really makes it better - 'Damn Jim you can shoot!'

This song should be named "The Legend of John Marston"

The whole game they tease you with snippets of the RDR soundtrack.. A little Outlaw's Return here, some El Club de Los Cuerpos there.. But this.. When John is finally doing some kind of good, and he gets pushed into being the outlaw he once was.. Just fantastic. The moment that guitar hit and the trumpets blare, i had the biggest goddamn grin. I instinctively pulled out both guns and blazed away, only sparingly using the deadeye. The semiauto shotty was a monster! THIS is the song that triumphantly declares "John Marston is back baby!" You gotta admit, Rockstar knows how to craft exciting setpieces and weave a great soundtrack throughout. I liked RDR2's soundtrack, but i yearned for just a little of the first's electric guitars and brasswork that made it so exciting to play. This went above and beyond any expectations I had assumed, truly.

This song brings straight RDR1 vibes.

I'm suddenly playing John Marston, it's suddenly the wild wild west again. I'm not hunting for revenge, but this is close to that! I'm the fucking badass cowboy again, the tragic story is set aside for a moment and you're given your guns and free reign!
