Great video !, its always a pleasure to watch nature in its own habitat. It must be hard in his situation, fending off all the opposition and keeping his ladies happy 😊. Thanks for sharing another great video. Keep up the great work my friend. Be well 🙏👏👏👏

Hi Steven, yes, I always look forward to the rutting season as this spectacle and habitat are as good as anything I see for the whole year. It is a shame the rut comes to an end so soon. As you say, it must be incredibly hard for those Stags, especially if they are carrying any injuries from early in the rut. Thank you as always for your thoughtful and kind comments my valued friend 👍◕‿◕

A very interesting and important period in the life of a red deer. In our region, in open areas, this is impossible to see. Our deer are hiding in the forest. I am always surprised to see red deer outdoors. Very interesting. There are also fights, but not very violent ones. Just drove the opponent. Great film! I looked with great pleasure. I wish you good day:)

Hello there, I would like to teleport over to your forests too and even if I did not see the Deer, it would be worth it to hear those roaring sounds and the Ravens calling that I hear in your videos. I hardly see any Deer out in the open, once the rutting season is finished. So that's it for another season, although I have one last rutting video to finish editing. Thank you for your continued support, and kind comment, my good friend. 👍◕‿◕

Hello again, yes it is about as wild as it gets here and one of those few areas I can go all day and only see a handful of people. (thankfully) I'm sure the fight was short due to the 'U' shaped antlers on the lower Stag with no points on the 'U'. The aggressive Stag from higher up had all the advantages, especially with better antlers for fighting. Thank you for watching and for your kind comment. Much appreciated, my good friend. 👍◕‿◕

Fantastic footage again Jane. Amazing to watch the young bucks trying their luck. And the stag at the end looking beaten but going back for another go!! Great to watch.
@WildlifeBirdsUK
@WildlifeBirdsUK Жыл бұрын
Good morning Dave, the youngsters are quite clever in that they gather together and make their move at the same time to increase their chances of a little fun and a chase, but also give them a better chance of avoiding the main defending Stag. The Stag at the end was brave to have a second go, because his antlers were very basic, shaped like a U without any additional points, whereas the attacking Stag had several points, which could easily have slipped along the U shape of his foe, causing serious injury. It was best to live for another day in this instance. I am sure he would have later picked up one or two stray hinds. Thank you as always for watching fully and for your sincere and kind comments my valued friend. Good luck over the rest of the week if you are out in nature 👍◕‿◕

@@NBNatureTrailvan How wonderful to be watching Otters and their Cubs, yaaaay! It's at least 2 years since I have seen an Otter and I really miss seeing them locally. There are rumors about the 3 dead Otters 'seemingly run over on the roads around a local lake where they used to enjoy living and fishing etc. all found within a few weeks of each other. It is only a matter of time before another appears tho'. they can wander for miles through the evening to find new territories. I look forward to seeing more of your Otter videos. 👍◕‿◕

@@NBNatureTrailvan There were fishermen that hated the Otters. The thing is there is no Fishing in Marton Mere where they were. But on a lake around a mile away, there were dead Fish some mornings and an Otter was blamed, then they put 2 & 2 together and summised it was one from the Mere. Studying Otters' behaviour, wow, you must have been close and loved that! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Good evening Don, there were several occasions whilst I was there (4 full days over the season) when I was almost convinced there was about to be a fight as 2 rival Stags were sizing each other up. So I was well happy when they finally had a fight and none were injured, a win/win. And as far as your second comment goes, it is 100% spot on for the final Deer video I will make public on Friday a.m. ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡°) Thank you as always my good friend. 👍◕‿◕

@WildlifeBirdsUK
