I HAVE SCABLES OR SARCOPTIC MANGE, IT'S ONLY IN A FEW SPOTS BUT I KNOW IT'S ONE OR THE OTHER, THE ITCHING AINT THAT BAD

Thank you you’ve put my heart at rest my dogs had it the second time now and first time bravecto did the job and this time it nearly got rid of it so it’s been a month I’m gonna try another dose of bravecto with medicated shampoo

I called the company who makes Provato, and they said that they never advise or label their product as use for sarcoptic mange in dogs or cats, and if a vet is using, it in that manner, it is off label use, but it is not intended to be used nor will it treat sarcoptic mange. Usually, ivermectin is the gold standard, and it is in the heart guard Which I got, in a treat form, for my cats. Also, I have tried Revolution, but I’ve only seen a mild improvement, with both products.and I’m not sure if ivermectin would be the best course of treatment rather than these topicals like Revolution, that has selamectin in it, or heart guard that has ivermectin but other medicines as well that are unnecessary if your animal is only suffering from sarcoptic mange. Also, I have never found that you need to do a skin scraping because you will see the mites, Specially on the face, in the tear ducts, around the eyes, and their anus, but I’m not saying they aren’t in other places, as surely they are, but these are the easiest places to identify and see them. Also, I find these little mites in their bedding which look like pepper flakes, poppyseeds, or would be mistaken as crumbs of some sort, but to me, they are very distinct and consistent looking. They can even take on a crescent moon shape. They vary in size from literally ,if you made a dot on a piece of paper, with a pencil or pen, to the size of a poppyseed, and they can be gray, brown, or black, and they are very painful and make the animal very agitated, not to mention they can cause secondary infection, anemia, kidney disease, at least in my cats, make them very allergic, and can cause other potentially fatal comorbidities. Also, if either your cat or dog has sarcoptic mange, you might have sarcoptic mange, too, as it is a mammalian and zoologic disease which means it can be transferred from animals to humans or humans to animals, and if you don’t know this and treat everyone, in the house, humans and animals, you will just keep perpetuating the cycle. Also vigilant cleaning is paramount as well as treatment. I am going through this, myself, now with my cats and myself, and I can tell you that it is nothing short of a living nightmare. It has caused me to have anaphylaxis, anaphylactic shock, and seizures, and I’ve almost died,several times, from anaphylaxis, but sadly and tragically, it grieves me ineffably, to say, that I have also lost a few of my beloved children, my cats, to this disease, whereby, one baby succumbed to sepsis, the other had a severe kidney disease that only progressed, until total kidney failure and a kidney infection took my baby. My other two cats also succumbed for other reasons, so clearly, sarcoptic mange is not benign, in either humans or animals, and do not let your doctor or vets be cavalier or slipshod with either human or animals treatment. I’ve seen so much incompetence between doctors and vets, in diagnosing sarcoptic mange that it is astounding, and this is why it went undiagnosed for so long, and four of my children succumbed to the disease and five others are still suffering with it, including myself. I feel as though I am not being helped, especially in the veterinary world. I’ve had vets insist it’s microscopic, so what I’m seeing is probably dirt, but yet they tell me they can see ear mites which are likely the sarcoptic scabies/mange going to the ears. I tried to explain to them that microscopic should not be taken literally, but rather what it means is that the mite is not invisible to the unaided eye, though it just simply looks like a dot, poppy seed, or a pepper flake. Therefore, by microscopic what I believe is meant is that you cannot see the mite, in copious detail, like you could a bigger bug such as a fly or an ant, but medical and veterinary literature persists in using words that are inaccurate, and lead to misdiagnosis, dismissed diagnoses, and tragedy. If a human presents with severe sarcoptic mange, then assume the animals have it as well, and at the very least, as a preventative, treat the animal as though they have sarcoptic mange. However, I assure you your animal will show signs of mange, and you will see exactly what I described in their bedding, or your bedding, if they sleep with you or not. If they don’t sleep with you, humans will find the same thing in their bedding. Please, everyone do your due diligence, and do not accept no as an answer, but also my former vet would give me medicine for all of my pets, whether he saw them or not, as long as he saw one, he would say treat them all, as this is customary & the accepted standard of care, but I am being met with nothing but recalcitrance, until my doctor graciously got involved, and availed the vet that all of my cats must be treated. I pray they will be fine, and better than that, as healthy as they were, before this ever tragically occurred. I am beyond disgusted because sarcoptic mange is so common veterinary practice that they should be able to identify mange with the greatest of ease! What could be the best treatment for pregnant doc?

I give my dogs sheep drench ivermectin once monthly to avoid heart worms, recently i discovered two of my three dogs have this. I was on vacation house sitting with a cat who has hair loss and was told it has allergies to fleas two of my dogs got in fight with the cat and now they're both infected, one of them is so bad, I've been cleaning her face head and eyes with colloidal silver spray, put hydrocortisone dog lotions to help the itching, also i gave her the ivermectin i take for horses in a small dose. I also have been giving her natural antibiotics for dogs twice a day and I've been on a round of ivermectin myself cause my arms has the bumps but not itchy at all. Im gonig to start treating all three of my dogs now , jeez when it rains it pours.

Its outrageous the price put on health and well being, you think that the medical board would care for out breaks , instead they put a price on health.

No you really do not have to scrape the skin cells vigorously a simple fair amount of pressure as much as you would scratching your pets back or. Neck but certainly not so vigorously as to take a layer of skin off
