11:00 No quick menu on the M10-R - so far. Still a feature request, but I think they have to update the whole M10 series ... Good to see you again and back with the same kind of humor...

Thanks for this helpful episode. I am sharing some experiences here if it may help/inspire other uses. 1. File naming - We run both the SL-2S and the M11 at the same time for portraits, I find it helpful to rename one of them, which helps separate the images. 2. Menu button - If you hold down the button and press left on the D-Pad it will go to the previous menu page. 3. Digital Zoom - I am experimenting with the M11 Q. I set button 19 (FN) to Live View on/off, button 17 (wheel press) to Focus Assist, button 6 (round FN) to Digital Zoom. When wearing gloves in winter, this is much easier than using the menu to select zoom factors, it will cycle through them.

A fantastic camera- have been using mine since the release. So good! It froze a couple of days ago but it was very cold outside so I don't blame it. Just pop out the battery and you are ready to go again. (and yes, that was with the new firmware). What about a 50mm with a closer focus option just like the 35mm?

Thanks for the episode. I always learn something new when I watch your videos. One follow-up question and one comment. 1. I have a 28 2.8 version III that is not bit coded. For some reason the camera always turns to "Auto" on Lens Detection menu and thinks the camera has a 90M 2.8 mounted on camera and I cannot choose "Manual M" to change it to the proper lens. Any ideas? 2. On the "Thumbwheel" long press function button Josh mentioned he likes to have this programmed for "M-ISO", which I also have as my setting. I think it is important to also mention that you should change the mechanical ISO dial to "M" otherwise the changes made with the "Thumbwheel" do not have an effect. The mechanical ISO dial is the primary controller for ISO and will always override manual changes with the "Thumbwheel".

Guys : Exposure compensation only works when the mode is A. Is It? if the mode is M and iso is also fixed... does Exposure compensation work ????

Often when I use the Focus Aid feature the magnified area displays at one of the corners instead of the middle of the screen. This requires me to manually move the magnified area to the middle of the screen. Do you know why this happens and how I can lock the magnified area to the center?

Missed you guys !! Quick question related to colour profile. When I open the dng in Lightroom the software defaults to Adobe standard instead of Adobe colour (which is reacher). If I then reset the image (by clicking the bottom right button) LR assigns the Adobe colour profile. Is this normal? Do you experience the same behaviour?

Can leica prepare a video, to explain why my m11 freezes so much ... using only internal memory.. ?! I sent my camera to new jersey.. but they can't find the problem

How do you use Lens Detection for non-Leica, non-6 bit coded lenses like say, a Voigtlander VM lens?

Leica does not offer lens correction profiles for non-leica lenses, so you won't find it in the list.

You can use the same approach as for non-6 bit coded Leica lens. Go to the list of M lenses as shown by Josh and choose one that’s close enough to your Voigtlander lens. I have my CV 35mm f1.5 set up as a 35mm Summilux. Just do some test shots against a plain surface to see which lens listed in the menu are best for your CV lens (eg reduced vignetting)
