Brilliant. I read Jake wrote this when he was 15. I didn't even know he played piano.

Jake started playing classical piano at the age of 6 at his mother's insistence. He played for 10 years, that's where he picked up all his music theory. He picked up guitar at 13 starting with his older sister's acoustic and then switched to electric. By the time he started messing around with rough cut he'd only been playing electric for about 2 years and rose to the top of the hill in San Diego. It wasn't long after that he moved to LA and was in Ratt and then Ozzy. Jake's songwriting abilities, composition skills and music theory made him the ideal replacement for Randy roads because he was able to be the band leader, actually composing full songs including intros versus chorus's and bridge and endings to the songs and helping to You used what direction to the rest of the band. He wasn't just some random garage axe slinger, he had serious chops.
