Really appreciate this video. I occasionally make shoes for my dolls - Gene Marshall and Barbies - and it’s so nice to see a watch a professional doll maker/dresser doing the same and using the same process.

This is a great help. I’ve made flats but I want to make high heel shoes for my 8 and 10 inch dolls from the 40s and 50s. Still trying to figure out how to make the platform and heel…that’s going to be a challenge!

The platform part of the shoe. I think I can do that. I just have to figure the heels. But this process of making such perfect shoes will render this a very expensive doll indeed. Strappy sandals are the best shoes for a fashion doll.
