The reason some parts are matt and others glossy are because you sprayed one heavy uneven coat instead of misting many coats. It would have come out more even.

Dude ! That’s pretty bad ass ! It’s cool that you are customizing it yourself. I do the same thing to my Silverado. I was checking out those speakers you put in the top of the dash. How they don’t sit down all the way. Take some 3/4 pipe insulation and put it around underneath between the speakers and the dash plastic to make it seal against the dash better. But yeah man I’m subscribed 👍

It’s too glossy because you sprayed way to much on the first coat. Also if you want to get a nice texture. Spray a light coat of bed liner spray. Definitely will make a big difference. I did black on my dash. Came out clean.

Maybe some fiberglass or bondo on the dash to make it look flush or a part of the dash, and also to not risk it getting damaged some grill mesh? Its all ideas yk so you dont have that gap in between the speaker and the dash on the passenger side. Either way it came out badass

For the holes use a Drimmel machine . Cleaner cut and smooth edges.

Wouldn't be my choice of color, but I would definitely recommend not using the cheap paint like you did. That's going to flake and peel. If you go with something like an SEM brand dye/paint, it's going to last with far greater resilience. Not sure if they have a bright red color like this, and clearly it's too late now, but for anyone thinking of doing this, I can't recommend strongly enough to _not_ use typical paint. When it starts chipping, it's going to look like crap.
