I've been watching your videos. They are so much fun to watch. I pick up a little trick or hint in every one. I would like to see the actual reference photo. You could put a link to it in the description. I want to see an area and watch how you tackle it. Without it, I don't know what the image looked like to compare.

Great tutorial, thank you. Is it possible to fill the tooth too much with the gouache? I had a bad experience with this method but I’m wondering if either I used too much gouache or that it wasn’t completely dry before I went in with pastel. I wonder if you would do a video on blending pastels please? I have the biggest problem with blending when I attempt landscapes and I end with mud. Thanks again.

Hi there Adrienne thank you for watching my video and for taking the time to leave a comment. When applying the gouache make sure it’s just a thin layer. I’ve never experienced a lack of tooth after doing this as the gouache when dry is textured, thereby adding tooth to the surface.
