My view on toxic masculinity is that its a masking term used to deny the very existence of misandry in the society. For example, no one says "women belong in the kitchen" is toxic feminity. We accept that such mentality is misogyny. In case of male issues things are different. Men's problems (like increasing false accusations, lack of domestic violence shelters, increasing mental problems) are labelled as due to "toxic masculinity" and dismissed. In brief, it is also a form of victim blaming. Also, the term is used as an excuse to justify why aren't feminists not doing anything for these men's problems.
