Hey everyone! A month and a half in, and the tank is looking great. We will be doing an ICP test soon in order to get ready for the Triton Method. Meanwhile,
What wrasse should I add to the tank?

Caleb Brinkley When I first started the tank I put chaeto and the Kessil in from day one. I also kept all lights off in the display. Once the algae was growing fast in the fuge i ramped up the lights and now no algae in the display. And I feed about a cube of my sis worth of food a day. Note* my lights are only on at about 30% atm so that may change once corals are in. I'll keep y'all posted!

Okay that’s three videos I’ve watched now, and I even watched every outro! I really appreciate the framing of your shots and the composition of each view. Can’t say I’ve ever noticed that on anyone else’s videos - very impressive, and adds to the viewing experience in my opinion. Nicely done! And your fish look good too. 😁 As for wrasses, I suppose it depends on whether you are after looks or function. Fairy wrasses (genus cirrhilabrus) are super colourful, but with tangs and a flame angel already in the tank, it might be too difficult to house a fairy wrasse successfully as they can be timid around highly active and/or aggressive fish. But the other end of the scale (eg melanurus wrasse) can be super aggressive. Maybe a yellow coris wrasse? Also known for pest control, so maybe would look nice and also be useful? 🤷‍♀️ Sooooo many decisions....

Ooh, that’s spooky because I was thinking that’s another one that can be very beautiful and also perform a function. If you can get a super male, or a pair, that would be gorgeous. You might need to segregate the tangs and angel to allow for orientation and from what I know, this fish needs a somewhat mature aquarium. So tricky sometimes - I’ve introduced 4 new fish over the past couple of months and I think I’ve reached my max stocking level. It was very anxiety-inducing, but so far they’re all doing well. 🤞🏻

Reefgrrl I think I might just go with the Gal to start, then maybe she'll morph to a male. And then potentially add another female if the tank isn't too crazy stocked XD which it already kinda is

Just saw this comment. I do water changes once a month maybe? I run triton method. So you don’t really have to of your parameters are looking good. But I do some just to be on the safe side since the tank is still kinda young. Posted an update on how it looks now
