Kosmos Innertainment Group and Karsten "Crash" Gopinath shot this footage with the Orangatang crew to test a new sensor for RED Digital Cinema. A Pursuit Systems Cayenne Turbo equipped with a crane and four-man crew followed our fearless, freckled friends forever down the Malibu hills.

People wonder why these guys are so good. Look at the huge SMILES on their faces as they do this. It's because they're having one hellova time and aren't afraid to fall. Keeps ya loosey goosey, but practice helps too.

This is a radical clip! TOp notch action from these dudes. I live right down the highway a bit. This is cajones to the walls on the down hill don't kid yourself only for the super experienced. By the way, love the switchy at high speed these guys do

@rtheemperor It's a KZfaq video. Not only is it resized and transcoded down to 720p when the video is edited, but KZfaq encodes it as well when it's uploaded. Saw the premiere of Drop in Vancouver, which was filmed with the RED camera. The quality in that compared to the intro videos they played was incredible, and you really noticed it on a 36' screen.

Cool video idea- When using the car to film, keep another camera on the speedometer the entire time. Then in the final video, keep a small pop-up of the speedometer in the corner so we can really appreciate how fast they're going. : )

@MrLongboardmagic well. these guys could use any of the loaded boards as a dh board because they're just skilled. also, theyre boards are primarily carving and trick boards. (hint: loaded carving systems) you're right about the wheels though, but i haven't tried the s9 wheels because i've had bad experiences with s9

@Hardpackfilms lol, curiosity about how fast they're going is a bad thing? It would only make me appreciate their style and technique all the more when I have an estimate of how fast they're going when pulling off their slides.
