It didnt come out the same bc i didnt have food coloring and velvets but i didi it with strawberries and it came out pure haven it was broun bc of the cocoa powder u did some egg whites and spread on top with strawberries and blueberry yummy I would recommend

Buttermilk is different from fresh milk. Buttermilk works better with cake batters that has soda for soft texture. U can make your own Buttermilk though just check check online. Just use vegetable oil or sunflower oil. Hope i helped
