Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of England's brightest football talents. His impressive skills have taken him from his roots in Liverpool to playing in the Premier League and representing England in Europe and internationally. But to improve at this level, you need science on your side. Sports vision specialist Dr Laby took Trent on a programme designed to analyse, challenge and improve his visual skills, in order to make him a better player on the pitch.

I loved this!! Really interesting to see the actual extreme talent and focus necessary for Trent’s level of play and understanding of the game. Seeing how happy and proud he was with his improvement was such a indication of how he much he works to get better. Amazing video. I want to see more players do this!

It’s very interesting as well because Klopp was one of the first managers in Bundesliga to introduce sports science to improve his Dortmund side, each players took part of skill assessment, technical ability and techniques to improve their first touch, coincidentally they won the league back to back 😃

Yes it is does. There's a link to the full video in the desc, and it shows the entire process from start to finish. It also mentioned him being dropped from the england squad initially and the increase in form he's had since the end of the tests. Should really give it a look if you're interested

This is an ad, but also a great concept. Trent is clearly one who wants to grow cognitively and vision-wise. Imagine a trent with more vision than is required to make a full-pitch cross to the opposite winger lol
