Redcat lightning str nitro top speed run! Can it catch the electric with more nitro?

2 ай бұрынIn a previous video the Redcat lightning svr hit 42mph but that was 6mph shy of the Tamiya tt02 electrics 48mph run. Bumping the nitro content up from 20% to 30% will the help and be enough to make up the difference. Will the tired team infinity engine take the extra abuse? Going to dig further into that this weekend and see how much more creative modifications I find. I did get some pretty cool parts in recently tho I’m pretty stoked

Red locktight not going to work because of the heat that's how you remove parts when they have red lock tight. You would have to use lock washers to keep it from backing off. 💯✌️

I’m going to get longer bolts and run them backwards and use nylock nuts on the side away from the exhaust with a lock washer. If it comes off after that I’m welding it lol

That's why I quit nitro ,it's too fickle. Electric is far more dependable ✌️😁✌️

I wouldn’t disagree with that but the noise and mechanicalness of the nitro is why I still do it. Nothing beats some good old internal combustion
