Dunno who that drummer is but he's taking control of the tempo and laying down the beat. One of the best I've heard.

Janne Haavisto - he's done some crazy stuff (like release a CD called Permanent Jet Lag), but those Finns know what they're doing when it comes to music.

@@pagophilus Finns know how to do a good many things! I know because I’m from dah UP. I was born smack dab in dah iron belt. I grew up with Finnish Americans. I have a Finnish American Uncle who is an MD. I had a Finnish American Economics Professor who taught me well. Even though I had his class 27 years ago, I still remember much! Yah to dah UP! Yah to dah Finnish people!!

I don't know another guitarist who is as much FUN to listen to as Redd. Always full of surprises; and I love the way he mixes it up on the vocal phrasing too. Country with a jazz sensibility, so inventive and fresh. The steel player and other guitarist are no slouches either, and the rhythm section is right on the money. Great stuff.

Hi. Try Greg Koch he is a real "clown" with the guitar (in a good way). A lot of fun and surprises.

This is the way I like to hear music. Intimate setting, low profile, top shelf musicianship. Everybody there is lucky.

It doesn't get much better than this! Especially love both of Redd's guitar solos - they both reference the melody, they both have twang, and they both contain the occasional surprise. This is how it's done.

This is excellent. I follow roots music broadly. I know lotsa stuff about players and connections, and musical trivia, and I didn't know him! I am glad that now I do.

It's a travesty what has happened to Nashville and the garbage they call country music today. Redd is the last of a dying breed of musicians 2nd to none.

Don’t do this song like this, it’s a traditional country song, and was not written this way!
