For F2P and low spenders. i would also add...Go for Attack refines first. I also do refines only when there is a refine event on and after i have a good round for the pyramid/Barbarian palace. I use half the gems for my monarch level and half for refines. After my monarch is at lv40....all gems will be used for refines. That is how i manage the gem part to the budget. between the pyramid/Barbarian palace events, hunt to get the refine stones and gold. For us...everything is a grind. so don't expect refining to be fast. Evony: only for the strong.

Thank you very much! I have been going with the Usable method, and that plan has worked well for me. I also have a very limited supply of gear to refine since I am holding out for Ach gear. Everything has been in a holding pattern while I accumulate proper generals and level up my Keep and Academy. Then I can upgrade the buildings to support T14 troops. Troops are expensive both in building them and in recovery. I stay slim and do not play defense, only offense (with rare exceptions) in Battlefield. No SVS yet. I am sitting on 260k stones and... 1.39M gems (not counting boxes from events). My archer general (probably Electra due to ascendability - doesn't really matter) will get a fresh set of Ach gear when the time comes. In the mean time... The Grind stays real.

the 1st stat should always be refined as perfectly as possible, as it doesn't cost gems. The cost in refining stones & gold is managable, but gems are always a limiting factor. Thus, with further refinements it's often better to get away with any usable value

I’m a little confused.. is it not possible to refine a little, use the gear and go back and refine periodically? Why would anyone, or in what instance would someone not touch the gear until it’s “perfectly” refined? I would imagine that it’s probably better than most of your other gear, otherwise it wouldn’t be important enough to refine immediately. Maybe this is a dumb question but I just started this game a little over 1 months ago. Anyway.. thanks for being very detailed and thoroughly explaining everything. It is greatly appreciated!

How we know actual Attacking or Defence or HP number of Troops so we can calculate percentage from that number, Example you said in the Video for Higher Troops percentage refine is better. Let's say Attacking is 1000 for T14 troops then 25% would be 250. For this calculation I took 1000 as example where can we check the actual number in game

I've perfect refining for my archers general's equipments. I mean ares/ Achaemenidae equipments ..they cost a fortune.. now I got 2 civic equipment scrolls.. 🙄🥺😇 totally confused.. 😆🤣
