You DO have it all together. If you’re living LIFE in your home, playing and letting your babies play, bake with you, and enjoying your days as a young family - that’s the “together” that truly matters!

I feel like she’s always told us her house is a mess but mess means something different to everyone lol I’m over here like the joke/reels you see about baseboards being clean “show me the baseboards!” Jk jk jk but for real my MIL and I have different definitions of mess. Stuff around the house because we live here is normal for me. Mess is like dirty stuff for me. Dirty dishes, dirty bathrooms. My MIL thinks a backpack on the table because a kid just walked in the door is mess and dirty and needs to clean ASAP! She’s a hoot and I love her but I have to remind her a lot that she’s doing a great job and her mess is my normal.

Jessica- for goodness sake, you are a mom, a wife with two kids. If people really truly believe your life is “perfect “ then they are fooling themselves. You are a functioning human like all of us. I appreciate your honesty but also if those that come at you complain if laundry or dishes appear in the background then they have a problem with their own lives and not being honest. Just my two cents

Thank you for being one of the few SANE people on here! My god I always cringe at other women being jealous and literally HAPPY that someone who seems to be ‘perfect’ have a zit, or a messy room, or gained weight! It’s disgusting.

It makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER that your house can be messy sometimes too! I have a special needs child and a 1 year old and I just can’t keep my house tidy no matter how hard I try and I feel like a failure most of the time. I did 3 loads of dishes yesterday… and the sink is full again. I did 4 loads of laundry yesterday but none of it got folded. Thank you for making me feel better about not having it all together.

Don't let anyone lie to you Honey Child! Ain't a single one of us got our shit together & we Damn sure don't have it together 24/7/365, we just maybe fake it better. Dirty dishes & loads of clean unfolded laundry can wait. Kids *need* Mama & Dada to give hugs & kiss boo boos & read favorite stories to them. Randomly sing stupid words that make no sense & everybody snuggle in together & take a "body rest" in the morning 2 hours after you got up or 1300 in the afternoon because no body "needs a nap" & make sure you tell them that they "better not fall asleep on you." No one is gonna remember in 5 years or 10 that you never left a sink of dirty dishes or load of laundry unfolded & if they point that out because they do remember, deny deny deny demand proof & deny anyhow. Go dance in the rain & play in a mud puddle. Life is short. Play hard. God Bless All Y'all 🙏🇺🇸💄🇺🇸🙏

This is so cringy. I know some women who have neatly spotless homes with children because they are just better at it. So what!! Some people just do things better and that’s ok! Don’t ask someone to dim their light to make YOU feel better. So self centered.

After I had my daughter, I felt the need to try to be that Pinterest mom. What I realized was that I was working my tail off and, for the most part, no one cared about any of those "perfect" things. Then, I heard a great quote, and I have lived by it ever since. "Sometimes, good enough is good enough. " Store bought can be fine instead of homemade, clean can be fine over neat...etc. Things don't have to be perfect. Good enough works just fine.

Yesss we want and need to see real life🙌🏼 even if people don’t realize it yet, the constant perfection on social media is messing with our brains and eventually making us feel bad about ourselves. And I know it’s gotta be hard for you even if the negative comments are just one here and there. But I hope you really push through those and see the thousands of positive loving ones. 💗 Let those comments be the ones that root in your brain. Love seeing the laundry and everything else. And there may be some random clothes on top of your dresser but at least the ship is gone amirite? 🤣🤣🙌🏼 I love the book reviews! Fun fact, Christina Lauren is the pen name of a writing team. They are best friends. And I just love their books! In fact they have a new one coming out in May and I’m so looking forward to it. 💗

It’s such a hard balance showing the every day and trying to tidy a bit before filming. Girl I give you a lot of credit! I think that you find that balance pretty well! I feel like it’s almost like inviting friends over. You want them to come over and you won’t always have a perfect house, but you also try to pick up a little. That is not to say that you need to! You be you! And I love you and your videos in any way! Tidy, not tidy, you are fantastic! 🥰 But I know that struggle to think well let me pick up a little.😂 but I think that you do such a lovely job at finding the balance. I have always been encouraged and motivated when watching yours and Tyler’s videos. I think a lot of you, but none of us are perfect, and the ways that you both have shared hacks and life has been encouraging and helpful! Thankful for you and the ways that God is using you! 😘

Jessica, you shouldn't have to worry about people that tell you your house isn't perfect and clean! You have a family, and you live in your house. I don't know anyone that has that perfect house. There is no Aldi's near me. I have a larger family and a house full of teen boys, but groceries cost me $500 to $750 a WEEK. I'm widowed and grocery costs are killing me the last few years.

Jessica .. you can't win on the internet. Someone is always going to have something to say about anything and everything. I'm the same age as you with a full time job, a 16 year old son that plays baseball, works, vocational school next year, and a 7 year old. My best friend and I always talk about how we're ,36 but still don't feel like adults. Honestly we're all just doing the best we can, making the best choices we can. I love you and I believe your a genuine person and you just remind me of the sun speaking through after a rainy day. I hope that makes sense. Just be you girl❤️

Jessica I just want to say that, I really appreciate what you're doing. I also have 2 kids and ive sometimes had to take a step back from your videos because I thought you had it all together and I just wasn't there at that time in my life but now that you have been so honest and true, Ive been relating so much more to you and watching all of your videos recently. So thank you for listening and relating to us. You are amazing and your truest self. Thank you so much for sharing!

This is so pathetic. Please erase this and get some self esteem. Jealous women make me sick. I deal with this and tired of it. Never will we dim our lights to make others feel better.

I appreciate you addressing the comments about people saying it can be hard to watch your content because your life can come across as so perfect . As someone who struggles with perfectionism, I’ve definitely felt that too watching your channel at times over the past few years. I think it just goes to show how difficult it can be to not present the most perfect, tailored version of ourselves to others instead of a more realistic version. And like you talked about in your perfectionism video, even though we intellectually know that what people present on social media isn’t necessarily the whole picture, it’s still emotionally difficult to consume sometimes. Thanks for your honesty and candor in this video and in recent videos in general. I know I’m a complete stranger on the internet, but your growth has been really apparent over this past year in your videos and as someone who’s on their own journey of personal growth it’s really cool to see ❤

Jessi, you are so down to earth and sweet! You don’t have to apologize for being real, having messes or not. People are smart enough to know that if someone is not showing the messy parts of life, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Some people just want something to be mean about. Btw, the toilet in the background wasn’t even that big of a deal. Honestly I didn’t even see it because I was admiring your hair and makeup. I literally had to pause and look for it.

Hey Jessica, I’ve just got to the section where you’re talking about perfectionism and I relate to this really strongly but I would never say I feel like what you put out is ever “perfect” or “unachievable”. I too have unfollow lots of KZfaqrs / influencers and you’re the only one of them that makes it feel like coming home, all your content is so cosy and it just makes me so happy ❤

Not sure if you have ever been interested in Color Analysis, but you are definitely a winter! ❄️✨ You always look beautiful, but that green sweater and the navy sparkly sweater are stunning on you! Those are your colors! I’m also a winter and I look pretty similar to you color-wise (I’m also very Irish with hazel eyes and brown hair). Anyway, that’s all! 😂
