(Redneck Rc Park) Second Course Run With the Stock Element GateKeeper

Welcome back everyone today we are out on the crawler Park with the Element gatekeeper and my oh my you can tell I haven't ran a low straight axle rig in awhile took me a little to get my lines right but the gatekeeper is an amazing crawler right out the box definitely one my best crawlers hope you all enjoy this crawl I changed up some the rock lines didn't think to get a before and after pic or shot but I will try next time...

Thanks I will be putting together my new bright heavy metal jeep body with real metal panels it's supposed to be a 1/10 scale rc but it's more like a 1/12 had to order shorter links and shocks stay tuned for that should be a fun project build

Your course is very demanding for any tire or rig. Would love to see any high end rig do it any better. I would shorten the springs or eliminate them all together and put rubber bands to hold the front ones together but none on the back. That will get your cg down low, but other then that it's all about the tires usually. I agree a new fusion SE or the pro would be a huge upgrade. Stay safe bud.

Nice run, course looks challenging for break overs. Lots of spots to fall into as well. Good one!

Thanks I try an make them challenging hopefully the water goes down and I can get the parts for my injora build want to get that ready for comp season

slap an ecto body on it and ditch a lot of the weight u top with the cage, front tire placement is critical with straight axle rigs, while also making sure you arent going to get high centered looks like the one tire has a flat spot, is the foam broken inside or was it stored sitting on its wheels. Nice run, I use to have the ecto but it was fully upgraded and performed very well but could not keep up with my portal axle rigs going over the rough stuff like creek beds and what not, but it will out perform the portal rigs going vertical. thumbs up👍💯👍💯👍

I am planning on getting the Element ecto I want the black body that when it gets scratched it looks reddish and makes it look old I love my gatekeeper the way it is I know the cage is a little top heavy but with the brass weight on the wheels and I have a set of treal heavy aluminum rims for it with the landmines I use those for comps I thought about putting a set of portals on the gatekeeper and changing the shockes up but I want to try and keep it as much stock as possible it has definitely been awhile since i have ran a straight axle rig and pluse being on 1.9s makes it worse lol but i love the challenge thanks for Watching

@@redneckrccrawlers9825 nice plan, I am down with that, I want to get the black ecto too, I traded my ecto to my brother for his losi lmt but kinda regret the trade as I now have to dump a bunch of money into the lmt to make it durable.👍💯👍

@jammer2150 yes I have a basher I have the 1/8 dementor xp but needs bunch of stuff to get going again battery's alone is almost 150$ so it sits for now lol I like my crawlers better anyway
