Yea they are really nice trucks out the box just loosen the suspension all the way out and put some weighted rims on good to go I want to put some brass on the portal covers to help with side killing a bit more

Hello and thanks for your comment! I have bought a new esc and motor and put in it it has a castle creations sidewinder 3 esc with a 7700kv castle creations motor the motor esc was around 150$ when I got it but you can find cheaper setups. If you want a fast setup make sure to get a brushless motor and esc setup with a high kv motor

@@JamesCarter-zh7gp if you still want to rock crawl but have some decent wheel speed get the hobbywing fusion 2300kv you will love it lots of wheel speed and u can still crawl slow if you want this setup I have is just flat out fast there is no crawling with it

It won't let me post a pic but both my front and rear driveshafts are hooked straight across from one another and the driveshaft coming from the gearbox should be on one with nothing across from it

I got my axles. I took apart the axles and greased them but I ran into an issue. My tires are rotating towards each other front and back 😊

The gearbox drive shaft and the front drive shaft sounds like it needs flipped around to me

@@redneckrccrawlers9825 the number of shafts you have on your gearbox in the center of you crawler is different than mine looks like you have more. On mine I have 2 shafts side my side and on the other side I have 2 shafts one on one side on one on the end there isn’t one in the middle except for the two that’s next to each other.

If I turn the center gearbox around will that make my rig drive backwards? I have to drill new holes for the front gearbox so I can mount all 4 screws in my front bumper that way the back of the motor doesn’t hit the back of the servo.

No bud you can't flip the gearbox around and the servo hitting the back of the motor will not hurt anything mine has been like that with no issues I wouldn't go drilling into it no need to

@@redneckrccrawlers9825 ok. Thing is I can run it as is but I can only get 1 screw on each side of the bumper. With that being said the bumper moves up and down so that’s clearly not gonna work. I have got to make it where the can isn’t hitting the back of my servo. I just flipped my center transmission lol I guess I’ll have to flip it back round.

@@redneckrccrawlers9825 hmmm mine is tight also but i can grab the front and move it up and down. Hell I’ll probably just run the bumper backwards. I’ll most likely drill s few holes and move the tranny forward about 5mm.

Ok I got it. Screws that holds on the motor are thread locked! Now I hope I got the gears in the right direction and no backwards shit.

Your good you can't put the motor planetary gears in backwards your going to love the crawl ability of the motor and with the front mounting gearbox it opens up a lot more possibilities for scale body's with interior I'm glad I could help you out I know my build videos suck I'm not good at explaining stuff but I do what I can lol

I have a hobbywing fusion se and I can’t get my servo to fit On the bumper the motor has the esc on the can. How can I fix that so you know?

I took my bumper an servo mount if you look there is two screws on each side move it up and only use the front screw hole it allows just enough room to get it in there that's how I did mine I'm at work but will do a quick video to show you when I get home if you need to see exactly what I am talking about

That’s exactly what I done. I am running into another issue. My prefixal drive shaft is hard to turn when I loosen the screws on top and bottom that hold the motor on it turns easy only when they are tight is when the shaft is very hard to turn I have to use pliers. I didn’t turn it but about half mm just to see. My motor shaft isn’t bent. Did you have that issue?

I don’t wanna send this kit back but I paid $100 bucks for this damn thing. To be honest this kit is worth about 30 bucks! I might send it back anyway and just go with a LCG transmission. But I’m curious if you ran into that problem. If I can fix it I’ll keep it. Also there should be 4 screw holes instead of one on top and one on the bottom.

@@Webb4RC yes the hobbywing fusion will work like I said you need to move your front bumper mount up and I forgot to mention you have to shave down the motor shaft just a hair to get the motor to go all the way in to where you can get the top and bottom screws in and I love this setup other than those two issues I have had no other problems and I am still running it today as my class one truck and it works very well

Lol at that point I wasn't worried about the gate I was just trying to get thru lol the new rock layout I definitely gotta resituate some of those rocks but I want to try it with 2.2 tires first so I will run my F-150 on it before I change anything thanks for watching and good eye

Yes you will need a set of body mounts or make your own that's what I did with the old side posts from an Everest 10

Do you use magnets? To hold the body on? I have the jeep wrangler tube body by Injora and I’m gonna use magnets. I just hope I can get the bumper of the jeep to set on the chassis and have no gaps.

Nice driving. I have the Defender and trail the same. Crawling in a dry stream bed. I drive the same with open diffs, but lock when needed. Thanks for sharing.

It's no longer a Everest 10 the only thing I'm using is the links I have a Injora chassis with the prefixal gearbox up front instead of in the middle I have a few videos on it just gotta scroll thru them to find them

Yes I love how quiet the hobbywing fusion is and I can't wait to show the new rig off been working on it off camera as it's to frustrating to try an video the build as I am making stuff work together as I go and with the body being more a 1/12 scale makes it more difficult I had to order 275mm links and I'm having trouble making them work as they seem to long as well but I will figure it out eventually lol thanks for watching

Yes I am happy with the bumper if I take off the big round lights I can get it closer to the body which I think I might do that will give a better approach angle and the jeep hard body is for a completely different build it will have a home made chassis as it is a little smaller than a 1/10 scale I had to get links size 275mm in length which I am hoping is short enough thanks for the comment an stay tuned for the build project should be good I hope lol

Your course is very demanding for any tire or rig. Would love to see any high end rig do it any better. I would shorten the springs or eliminate them all together and put rubber bands to hold the front ones together but none on the back. That will get your cg down low, but other then that it's all about the tires usually. I agree a new fusion SE or the pro would be a huge upgrade. Stay safe bud.
