I think BR feels very uncomfortable in this group. Except Sudhir, no one belongs in his class in terms of understanding of cinema. And this Abhishek talks random irrelevant stuff most of the time pretending to know about cinema. The comedy is that he is not even the imposter in this group 😂.

One big advantage of OTT is international audience. Tamil movies will be watched by Koreans, Americans, Europeans, etc. Their tastes are different than our tastes, this will give chance for our directors to expose & make movies that can reach international level.

Critics rountablenu sollitu you are discussing a lot on promotions and bo numbers. Also pls don't dumb down on your audience by calling non-critics. There is a big difference between critics and trackers. Apart from BR, Sudhir and to an extent Abhishek, I don't think the other two had anything to add to the discussions. Would have been good to have someone like Karthik or Vishal to the mix.

Watching a movie with a family coat is around 1500-2000 and not every movie we can watch. So Most of the audience is restricting big movies. If there are good small budget movies to do well in theatre there should be revision in tickets and other costs... If that's not made the situation will never change

Worst roundtable..critics roundtable nu sollitu again and again you are asking only about BO collections, promotions, business..oru film content better airuka, technical ah edhavadhu new ah try pannangala, cinematography, editing idhu maari endha questions um illa. Dress vanga kadaiku pona, kudutha kaasuku dress worth ah nu yosikanuma, illa..'agha indha store daily 25 crores turnover pandran, anga dress vangi irukom' nu sandhosa pattukuveengala..to fans who are constantly discussing BO, remember one thing, you gain nothing from that..just be selfish about your 200 Rs and see if the film is offering anything worthy of your time, that's the most important thing.

Poorly moderated show. Wasted opportunity having gotten the best of critics together. Answers irrelevant to the Qs. Qs not quite penetrative. For a critics roundtable 80% of the talk was focused on $ collections. Hardly spoke about what films worked for each of them and why? What trends positive or negative that could continue into 2024. Guess the opening Q about Salaar set the tone for the rest of the show with its irrelevance. Very amateurish
