Redout Career 'Speed' race "Up Up and Away" in P-AR219 on the track 'Vishnu'. Class 4, 3 laps with the 'ESA-AGR' ship the 'Dragoon'.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the Vishnu space cannon? Like, you don't even go that fast. Its only 1,500 from when i measured on PS4 but the sensation of what you see, feel, and hear makes you feel like you break the sound barrier three times over! The camera effect, and the sound effect followed by the music change really makes you feel that change in speed, which is AWESOME! They really nailed Vishnu!

When you go so fast you experience time dilation and get a negative time.

thats because you get 1 bonus second each time you hit a boost pad.

Nice flying. Great to see that even the pros can't take all turns without bumping left and right into walls. Quick question: Why are you sometimes not boosting when you're on a long straight and the booster is full?

I think I once managed to get >270° FOV on this track using the overloaded energy turbine and turbo boost right after the 4th booster in the first push

is there any reason you use dragoon a lot? from what i've read, it seems like lunare is supposed to be straight up better, but i'm not good enough to really notice a difference.

Mostly personal preference, I prefer the ESA over lunare. The main difference between the 2 in summary, is that ESA has more energy regen, pool and hull (hull isn't important) while lunare has a higher top speed and grip. These tiny stat differences actually mean a whole world of differences in the top tier meta (boost patterns between the two matter quite a lot for example)
