gearbox is definitely weird, but you get used to it pretty quickly. i drive one full time and have had it for about a year and i absolutely adore it! for about 6 months i drove it on the highway twice a day and it was perfectly fine.a little more road noise but that's because the engine is behind your seat. highly recommend this little car!

Yesss but the aktuator is a shit think that is broken and if you had a mhd (microhibrid) you will find like me😭 how much cost the repair the generator, sincerely I recomand this car for who is not my friend🤔😂

Got over 150k miles on my 451 and after replacing all 3 engine mounts it shifts a lot smoother than it did. And with the way I drive it, it hasn’t exploded yet. Bought at around 125k miles. Built good enough for me so far.

Got the 450, and from South East London to Ripon had to top up around £6 , so totally I spent £35 ,and fast with 120bhp Brabus

Small car for 51 is a modern marvels. The smallest car built in the world that goes up to 80 mph with no stress on the interstate.

The gearbox if driven in automatic mode yes is a mess, in manual mode is acceptable it's just a little too slow to change gears, if I'm not confusing I think theres a chip program that will speed it up

I had the one minus the full automatic and it was fine to be honest. You get used to it. Same as the ride when cruising on a motorway. Build quality on the MK1 is an issue though

Don't buy it😭 I live in Germany so here the repair cost is not so much but even so for example for the cluch( aktuator) and kuplung I payed 1100euro with the service cost now it's boroken again and because is a model mhd(microhibrid) I must pay for the generator and because it's a complex generator that also strat the engine again 1100e😱 so I had also a first car that I did drive it km and km 200k km exacly a mazda 3 and never ever did eat this money. It's a lemon car, yes nice to drive it a little funny car but you need to be carreful because it's a money pit but if you don't care about this impediment maybe it is made for you.🤔

I want a 2015 manual one, they got 185 tires, the 5 speed manual, RWD, limited slip differential (I think) 11 inch disc brakes in the front and 8 inch discs in the rear, the super small wheelbase, and 89 horsepower at 6800rpms, its kinda a beast in the corners and its super lightweight too, wich you might think its easy to lock up the wheels, but the 2015 one has ABS on all the wheels wich is cool as

it has an aux jack, USB reader, and i think an SD card reader in the glove box on the left stereo is double din so easily replaced with an android auto/apple car w/e if it didn't come with one. i bought my 2013 second hand and it already had an older model installed just not sure if the previous owner added on or not
