This is super helpful. Thanks again and I'll be sure to use these tips as I try various setups on my skiboards.

Awesome! glad we could help with the ski setups. Bolting the cuff is the way to go I think for that.

@@Thisissoul I agree. It would really help to decrease the forward flex a bit

I really hope the next video will cover how to increase lateral support too, I’d love a more lateral supportive m12.

And I can’t achieve what I’m looking for just with liner or laces around the cuff. The cuff itself it’s too soft on the sides.

Can you also mb do a short or a video on poweslide next + intuition liner? I've been told my local skate shops that intuition liner doesn't really fit the next boot because the boot is too low and I haven't seen any people using next with intuition liner. Is that the case? I know it's a very specialized request but I really wanna know what my next liner should be. Would be much appreciated :)

@thestutteringskater uses intuition premium with next boot, he is killing it

@@wackozacco7507 I don't think he does, he for sure uses intuition liner in his twister xt but next? i'm not sure

@@tyren818 I am 100% sure he does, in his video "Threading the needle | Race wheels vs New York City" you can see what it looks like inside the boot with the reinforcement cuff on the liner. Somewhere else he mentioned heat moulding it too. It does stick way over the top of boot but you can lace it up by itself so it won't be flopping around and I think would have no issues.

Next and Intuition fit together very well... I skate the 42-43 with Premium 42, perfect match, liner sits in there like it's made for that boot... High liner cuff combined with stiff low cuff from Next gives me the perfect combo of support and "freedom" 😍 Just consider that it will give you more space, if it's tight with Recall liner you should love it, if it's already a comfort fit there might be too much room with Intuition... I had one issue with my high instep though (with low or normal instep you can ignore the following). The front inside eyelet of the liner was pressed against my foot by the shell, so I had to rip that metal from the liner... No big deal to me as it comes off (pliers and raw force) without hurting the liner and is not needed in the Next, just something to consider if you'd maybe want to use it in another shell...

Ep. 1: „… there have also been skates that did not have a (hinged) cuff at all … that‘s not really what you want“ Ep. 3: bolting cuff into shell to disable cuff movements😂
@Thisissoul3 ай бұрын
haha good observation. I bolted it in the right angle for me though. I am also very weard regarding flex because my extreme dorsal flexi and my ankle injury.
