The Flying Dutchman : I have done this trail 3 times. I live in Chicago and one thing I am going to when all this mayhem is put to rest to to head to the Red Woods for this hike. I will be a good way to close this horrible chapter.

SunetraCHI I just finished watching this after JUST discovering this channel. I was thinking to myself the whole time watching that I always dreamed of going to see the Redwoods. Thank you so much. We live in Washington and are currently sheltering in place. Before Covid we were going to Oregon Cost and Redwoods in March, but we couldn’t. We love the redwoods, this is a trail we have not been on. Thank you it is almost like being there and exactly what we need. I love that there is no music, just nature. So restful

I hiked this trail 5 years ago solo. It is an amazing experience being dwarfed by the redwood trees. Soooo quiet there. When I stopped and listened... quiet ... could almost hear my heart beat.

My mother and I hiked this gorgeous trail a few years back. We had gotten there after a recent storm had caused an old tree to take out a bridge at around the 15 min mark, and to go any further, we had to scrabble around and over the slick bark of the newly felled tree. Worth all the scrapes though! Easily one of the best trails in the NP system

Hello Mark ! Such a beautiful video ! Full watch ...The colors are so punchy ! Incredible no music it’s a muscular job ...so quiet in the woods ! Going in the woods and not speaking for so many km weren’t you afraid to encounter a bear 🐻 ...I suppose you had some bear spray? That big tree at 29:00 you passed underneath was almost blocking the way . So many tree 🌳 in those woods Seem that on this hike there wasn’t much people beside you ...were you hiking alone ? Thank you ! It was a long hike to fern canyon ! I had to take a lift back to prairie creek visitor center . . . It was not a loop 😏 to far in. . and almost evening . . I don't like to walk in the the woods wen its dark
