- This film was released ten days after the american army left Afghanistan. - The horse Stallone rides is the same one used by Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

And just so u know Sly does almost all his own stunts. That’s why he’s on his 4th back surgery. He put his body on the line for his movies/fans. He comes from the old school action style-he’s not a fan of green screens

I'm excited and terrified for you. The next 2 Rambo's are brutal. They're good movies but definitely leaves you with a feeling of sickness about what humans are capable of in real life. Especially Last Blood. After watching Last Blood I couldn't get it out of my mind for a few weeks. I was traumatized lol.

People will go into a film franchise expecting "bigger-better" with each new installment. Naysayers and crybabies will whine when they don't get that. True fans of the stories will be pleased with each one because every new film is an opportunity to spend time with characters they already love. It could be the crew of Serenity, Gandalf and Bilbo, a guy named Reacher, Rocky or Rambo. Time with the characters trump escalation of stakes. Ignore the naysayers and crybabies, hon. They'll steer you wrong 9 times out of 10. Keep 'em coming, Rambo is a great character. Lovely reaction!

Tanks nowadays are quite easy to drive. They use a butterfly steering wheel that you turn down in the direction you want to go and it locks up the track on that side to turn. Santa

Following the success FB part 2, Rambo was one of the first, Rated-R properties to be marketed beyond films. There was an animated series, Ruby Spears' "Rambo:The Force of Freedom" (1986) that ran 65 episodes. There was merchandise like toys, bookbags, etc But I got slippers instead of toys from the animated series (I was mad). John Rambo would be considered an action hero from then on in the culture. The director of part 3 is Peter Macdonald, renowed stunt coordinator. Uncredited for his directorial work on Tango & Cash and 2nd unit director on Batman, both in 1989. With soviets invading Afghanistan during the cold war, Stallone scripted Rambo into the fight alongside the Rebels (pre-Taliban) and that was controversial. However, there is good action, decent drama and an relatable message of standing against tyranny anywhere. A video game tie-in was in the arcades, computer systems and both 8-bit and 16-bit Sega systems. For the moment, this was the last chapter. I guarantee your going to love parts 4 & 5.

yes its true, when you're in a life or death situation and you have a lot of adrenaline pumping at least for that time you're a little numb to the pain, in the army they're trained in such ways, especially special forces like the green berets which is what Rambo is. They teach them how to survive and do things with minimum tools, that's also why he was able to climb a mountain without gear

I agree, Rambo 3 is a good movie, plenty of action and a good story line. However, for me, it's my least favorite of the series. The way I rate the Rambo movies would be First Blood, 4, 5, 2, 3. And I hope that you continue the series because the best is yet to come! Always a great reaction and I enjoy listening to your insight about the films you watch. 3 is the worst part yes, but still good. Now it only gets better with each part. Part 4 (john rambo) and then 5 (last blood), which is even better.

The climax showdown is the silliest thing in the film. Why would the Russian Colonel fly his Mi-24 in at the tank at ground level, and crash into it, instead of using his advantage and staying farther aloft? But, it is what it is.

@@Abbath77 what do you expect? Like Rambo said at the end of the first film, remember, *"Back there I could fly a gunship."* which he did in the second one, *"I could drive a tank."* Which he just did in this film as well.
