Reese Witherspoon, 45, has transformed her role in Hollywood from movie star to business leader-and maker of her own fortune. After rising as a child actor, she shot to household-name status for 2001’s Legally Blonde, going on to win an Oscar in 2006 for Walk the Line. But even after those triumphs, for a time she struggled to find satisfying roles in Hollywood, where women’s stories have long been sidelined. She discovered a way to change that in a lifelong love: books. Celebrating books through her book club-and adapting them for the screen-is now the foundation of Witherspoon’s business at Hello Sunshine, the media company she founded in 2016, where she’s established a track record for spotting, and making, hits.

I see people only saying good things about her, so I'm gonna add my 2-cent. I wasn't there, so I can't comment whether she was/was not a hands-on mom while she was married to Ryan P(in fact no fans could say if she was because like me, they weren't there), but what I do know, just like any celeb married couple who divorce, protected her cash from him, even went as far as saying he cheated, but who knows first-hand? All I know is shortly after news of her dating Jake G. Broke out, but as a fan, who knows who cheated first? All I know is neither Ryan or her ever admitted first and what appalled me is actually how chivovous Ryan was, even when Reese refused community property he still responded with saying she can sue him for support. Now those are facts we all can agree on, since it was stated in news and in court, but as for the cheating first, no one will ever really know
