I remember seeing I Solisti Veneti performing at Kilburn Odeon in 1965. The cinema used to put on live classical concerts on Sunday evenings. I was 19, first time working away from home, and I can still remember the wonderful musicians (I was into harpsichord music and this was the first time I had heard one played live).

But Vivaldi is my most 2nd favourable 18th century composer in the repertoire; and i always listening to his compositions using original instruments, where possible.
