What types of source are the blog posts?

Hi Saumya, I would encourage you to exercise caution when citing blog posts for your academic writing. Some are credible, some, not so much. However, if you do have a credible blog that you would like to use, you can just use the option 'Electronic source' in the drop down menu. All the best!

Hi Khirul, thank you for your question. The instructions here are to guide you to use the version that is available on your MS Word. However, I am given to understand that you can download the APA 7th edition template. A quick Google search should be able to help you :) I hope this helps!

@@carolpinto4276 like when I reference a book that's available online, I have to manually add the 'accessed at' part even if I put the URL in the citation manager😭 Wish there was an option to just add citation presets (e.g. e-books) or edit existing ones.

Thank you for your request Dipti! If you need to include the DOI for a journal article, select 'Journal Article' as the type of source and then as you scroll down, you will see DOI as the last entry there. Enter these details and *TADA* you're done!! :)

Oh! I'm not really sure of the features on the version you are referring to. But if you look at the bottom left, you will see a checkbox that says 'Show All Bibliography Fields'. Select that and you'll see a lot more entries show up. Is there no DOI at the end of this, either?

A period is a full stop. A citation is always placed before the end of a sentence - before the period.
