Yeah! fundamental idea... the light is maybe one of several eternal things why cosmos materia and antimateria created our solar system too - under billions of billions other solar systems? so who created all of this? ... and who created the creator... ;-) .. and btw what is behind the cosmos??

“Diffraction is caused by having a different mass” hmm I think it’s not that simple. Calculating a diffraction coefficient involves more variables

Dude, this is a photography video, not a physics one. They are trying to explain this phenomenon in the simplest way possible so we can learn and experiment with new forms of shooting. It's not intended to be 100% accurate, but rather quick and entertaining.
