Hello from a farm in New York. Thank you for taking the time to share your skills. I have some questions about a Carrier reefer box. It is an older unit, from 1994. The farmer wants to cool freshly harvested crops from the field. I had it working for a few weeks but it stopped last week. It uses the Micro-Link 2 system. There is an orange flashing light (MB) on the control board. The 10 amp fuse 3 (24volt circuit) is blown. It gets 37 amps and blows fuse. The machine is getting 490 volts. I see it is designed for 380-460 volts. Is 490 volts too much? Fuse 3 covers the 24 volt circuit for the contactor coils. This circuit has 25 volts. My plan is to search for a bad contactor coil. My concern is that the control board is damaged. Do you have any suggestions on what would cause high amps on the 24 volt circuit? I am happy to send you $ for some beers when you get to the next port. best regards Brendan

Im not sure why you did that.. You have the reefer cutting out because of high pressure (AL58), and also you have seen in alarm list that the thermal protection of condenser fan was opened (AL25).. Making bypass in pressure switch only will destroy your compressor.. It will run until blow a gasket, or, maybe just blow the fuse behind the liquid receiver.. You have to replace, or repair the condenser fan, thats the only problem you have..

Good day sir, we are facing problem in finding electrical fault in generator panel . Generator is running idle but there is no voltage showing on generator panel in ecr. We checked voltage in alternator side and voltage coming to panel, found all ok. We checked all relays and fuses in the panel found ok. Changed avr from another generator still not showing voltage and not showing generator running condition. Please help us for troubleshooting.
