Refurbish a AIR RATCHET - Abandoned Tool

Күн бұрынIn this Video i refurbish a abandoned Air Ratchet
I start with dismantle the Tool. Then i clean all the Parts in soapy water.
I grind the Rust off with p180 and p320 Sandpaper. Bluing and oiling the parts for rust protection. Painting the trigger in a white-beige color.
Assemble all the parts.

Nicely done! Didn't the internal gears need lubrication before you reassembled it?

Thank you. Yes, i put a lubrication oil into the air nipple before i use it.

@@toytool6669 I would have lubricated it with grease, most ratchets wear at that pivot bearing at the head and oil that you put in at the air nipple doesn’t reach anywhere near there in my experience

That is chemical bluing.
