But these are exactly the kind of consultation/scenarios we need to see and hear. Real life ones. Not the "Perfect hair textured client so that in the end you the artist look good" type of tutorials. Mate, you look great with this haircut! You really look good. This haircut suits you! I understand that hair loss is devastating. I'm 59. I've had hair loss for years but my hair still looked ok. During the summer of 2023, a lot happened in my life and my hair loss kicked into overdrive at the crown, in the front and along the top from the front to the crown. My scalp is noticable now. Devastating. It's now March 2024. I'm on minoxidil and finasteride for a month now, hoping to get some hair back. Dan, you come across as very kind, caring and empathetic with all of your clients, and I'm sure that's how you are in person, and not just on your channel. You're an amazing barber and I'm very much enjoying your hair loss series. Thank you for your channel and for all you do for your clients! I'm glad I found your channel!

Hi Dan, it’s great that you are optimising what hair the client has. I had similar hair to this Gent, most barbers just wanted to shave it off. I did some traveling and visited Australia/NZ and I so very much appreciated that every time I visited a barbershop they took the time to give a personally flattering cut. 👍

People with a full head of hair will never know how distressing balding is. You can't enjoy swimming, rollercoasters, windy days, rainy days, taking off a hat, etc... without a constant level of anxiety.

Seeing that there are amazing artists like you, Dan, in the world of barbers has made me want to get a proper haircut. I’m in Matts situation on the front hairline but with longer hair on the back (about 4 inches long) I’m 33 and haven’t visited a barber since I was a kid….

Looks really good, a clean sharp looking cut. Reduce the beard right down ( near stubble ) keep it cleanly shaped around the top of the neck and jawline.

The haircut is great and i think he is very happy with dan cutting his hair.

This is a great solution for this client. The guy has a really good facial structure and the cut highlights it. I do think a bit of beard thinning would be something for the client to consider. Never the less, great cut IMO.

His got that nice Jude law look. Very nice lads! I have the same hair line but vertex thinning that shows but my front is a fraction fuller- yes I cut my own hair because no one cuts my hair good and I learned during Covid-I have a Roman nose profile so the bone compliments my side profile if I cut into the crown area. If you have a button nose I think fuller at the back is better to not show the head bump/ if you got that old skool London gangster Roman / Greek nose the bump looks good I think with a medium to high fade even on small and brick head shapes if balding. That’s just my opinion lads. You’re a good barber/ hairdresser mate. Love your videos mate. Thanks for these videos- balding is really stressful especially as a single man trying to keep a style and get a date. You’re helping people with ideas mate. Much luv from Aus, Thanks ❤

If he can grow it forward, use some texturising powder and maybe even some hair fibres to give the illusion of density he could probably pull off a decent crop, depends on how self conscious he is about the receding hairline.
