This is KZfaq at its best: real people, not paid influencers, talking concisely about what worked for them. Thank you. The first thing I noticed in your before & after photos was how much darker your hair got. Was there anything going on to account for that, like the before pics being taking after spending a lot of time in the sun? Or, is it just a byproduct of the hair re-growth?

Hi thank you for reaching out! Your kind words are greatly appreciated, I agree KZfaq at its best is through real people, real results, not paid influencers. Just information that can help others, yes brands can be of use but legit brands that the influencers actually use that help. I'm glad you ask! I have had other comments about the colour difference in my hair, so my hair in the previous picture was really unhealthy whereas the new picture is it back to health. I think the new shampoos and conditioners may have contributed to the colour difference however the actual quality of my hair is so much better to the look and touch. Hope this helps! 😁🙏

I started using minoxidil in my early 20s, after 4 years or so I started to lose ground again. Important to mention that I am NOT on fin due to harsh side effects. I heard that dermarolling could help so I gave it a chance for about 7 months, unfortunately, It did not help. I was about to quit until I discovered a Pen, I started microneedling with a high quality Pen and the results started to kick in. I believe Blood circulation play a huge factor in MPB, that's how Min works wonders, I guess your body gets used to it and then you lose ground again after X years but since I added the Pen, I got tons of regrowth after few months, scalp tension and itchiness has gone almost instantly. Don't give up guys, trust the process and be patience. One more thing, you mentioned Supplements, I truly believe that supplements can't do much if anything unless the person has high deficiency.

Thank you for your video. As you mentioned, using chemicals like minoxidil is a temporary fix. If a person stops using them, hair falls out again. This time around, though, all the hair falls out that would've been gone while the chemicals were used; this means, the person has less hair than when the chemical treatment began. After searching on KZfaq, I discovered videos that praised the benefits of onion juice. I applied onion juice three times weekly and my barber noticed a difference without me asking. The process might be a little slower than synthetic chemicals, but the results last longer. Not only that, but my grey hair regained color. Later, I saw videos about using rosemary oil, which works, also. The key is to not just apply them and walk away, but to message it into your scalp to bring circulation back AND fight DHT. I put the natural substances in a bowl and use a rubber scalp massaging brush to massage it into my scalp for about an hour while watching television, KZfaq, whatever. The key is to maintain fresh applications while stimulating circulation; bring blood back to the scalp. It may seem like work, but it's really simple, brings color back to your greys, regrows hair in the bald spots and doesn't fall out once you stop treatment.

@@jesterwaterwizard2917 My hair was thinned out for 20 years. I shaved my head daily. Minoxidil is the best way to grown your hair back. I recommend if you can seeing a dermatologist. They can also prescribe you finasteride to take with it. I actually use Foam Monoxidil but after seeing this video I think I will switch back to the liquid drops as it seems more concentrated. Monoxidil and finasteride work great in tandem and will help you grow your hair back faster. Understand though it could take from 6 months to a year before you really start seeing results? Most people will see it after 6 months. I didn't really see it till after a year! So don't lose hope! Keep at it daily and never let up. You'll be glad to have a full head of hair again!

I learned this while taking care of my beard, but something many, i would argue almost everyone sleeps on is combs. Many round style combs with the pin style teeth work well on a budget, but i would seriously seriously encourage picking up one or more, try and see how they style for you, good quality combs (or picks) like Chicago Combs, the Carbon Fiber ones, and or Kent Combs. This is regardless of balding state or otherwise. Vast majority of people are all using combs that can either and often both destroy ones hair, or irritate our skin, neither which you want. Most straight combs essentially have microscopic straight edge blades in them from the printing process. Especially recommend Chicago Combs, any type that works, because the tips of the teeth are so smooth its very hard to ever irritate your skin with them. All these are more expensive, but not extreme in range of 10-20$, but they also in both cases are products that last years so very worth it.

Done this for about 3 years when I started seeing hints of thinning at the back of my head. Full head of thick hair after around 90 days. Nowadays I do finasteride every other day just because I am just maintaining. Also worth noting is that most schampoos have demiticone/silicone in them (thats what makes them very thick and paste-like, ex. Head&Shoulders) which will coat your head with a layer of whatever afterwards. Doing this schampoo and then trying to apply Minioxidil will make it harder for the Minioxidil to get through and take effect. Also, when in the shower and using your schampoo, do a bit of a massage session while you're at it, it helps stimulate the hair follicles.

I've done all the stuff you present here in this video and to be blatantly honest, none of it really made a noticeable difference in the long run, however after I gave up on all the products/supplements and just started eating clean (no fast food, no seed oils, unprocessed, preferably organic) , reduced alcohol consumption, and switched to natural/clean shampoo & conditioners, my hairline has magically improved significantly on its own. I literally have a better hairline now in my 40s than my entire 30s. I'm of the belief that it's exposure to environmental toxins (which are present in practically every cheap/garbage consumer product!) more than any DHT-related stuff, that was causing the majority of my hair loss.

@@DanishKhan-rc5vi Do you have a receding hairline? If you don't but hair is overall thinning wait 6 months, that's how long it takes for hair to grow back after telogen effluvium. If it doesn't grow back then you're probably diffuse thinning and balding and should use minoxidil. You have to use any hair loss treatment for life including things like finasteride and minoxidil. Don't let that scare you.

Your transformation is INSANE, and so very inspiring! I feel a bit like a fraud coming here and commenting, because I'm not even sure if I'm losing hair - I've never had my hair as long as it is (pfp for reference) but I keep noticing how much hair comes out in my brush, or even the amount of times I find long hairs in my clothes throughout the day. It could be the simple fact that I'm not used to losing hair this length, but I really don't want to take that chance. It also doesn't help that I've always had a pretty big forehead all my life 😂 In any case, your video has been really informative! You've inspired me to start taking better care and keeping a closer eye on the situation. Even if it's just a simple case of paranoia, I keep getting ads for Keeps and Hims, and whenever I tie my hair back it kinda freaks me out to see how big my forehead is looking these days! Since I'm not sure yet, I don't know that measures as drastic as minoxidil and finasteride are in order, but I'll keep it at the top of my mind (as I have for the past few months...). Would it be worth seeing a dermatologist or even my primary doctor about my concerns? I'm not really sure what can be done in that regard, but I'd really love to know all my options. Thanks again for making this incredibly important video - most people just seem to shrug off male baldness or even find it a bit a joke. Glad to see some support and unbiased information out there! :)

This is really some amazing stuff, thank you so much for sharing. These days, I've noticed how even if you are not genetically predispositioned to lose hair, stress and bad life habits can also be huge hair-loss factors (especially living in a competitive one). Therefore, I would probably add natural remedies as well, such as cutting out junk food and alcohol, frequent head massages, getting enough sleep (7 hours), regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, cold showers to lower body heat, etc., can all help with healthy hair growth. As with anything related to our health, battling hairloss also requires a holistic and long-term approach with constant maintenance. Even if somebody should opt for more drastic and artificial measures, such as hair transplants or medicinal treatment, lifestyle habits should always be adjusted for maximum effect.

Quite good video. Few things worth mentioning: 1. Minoxidil - you need to use 1ml just ONCE a day. It stays in skin for 21-22 hours so 2nd dose is a waste. Its advertise to use twice a day to increase the amount u buy. 2. He didnt mention Vit D3 - very important. 3. It is important the way u use those shampoos. Some you need to hold on head for 4-6min. If u just wash it off straigh away they wont work.

Congrats dude! I had a gorgeously lush mane for 3 decades and started noticing my wavy hairs all over the place...on the pillow etc. It was getting hella depressing. I just shaved mine all off, and give my self a buzz cut once a week. Best decision I made. If that makes me less attractive to women, great, I'm weeding out the shallow and superficial people out anyway. Also the practicality of not having to worry about trivial stuff like a bit of fluff on the top of my head gives more time and energy to focus on more important stuff.

As a stylist of almost a few years, I can share with you you, that you're not supposed to use strong hair shampoo on your hair. I've observed hair lines of so many folks, and I noticed that individuals who were using strong shampoos usually had thin hair line. So I suggest only to use gentle shampoo cleanser only. I personally use and advise to use litttleextra coconioon shampoo only. Also, do warm oil massage two times a week as it enhances circulation and encourages healthy hair growth.

I did and all I felt was how I'm destroying hair strands in the place I least want it. So I switched to microneedling the actual forehead area just below it, hoping that at least when one area gets better bloow flow so should the ones right next to it. Microneedling really isn't for anyone with anything more than a buzzcut. My best solution for this was to simply not cut my hair as short in the baldening section when trimming as otherwise the rest of the hair just grows much longer and you get much worse look. Baldening spots need some length in order to look like there is any volume. Also for men, trimming the sides as much as possible helps with making ANY hair look abundant when the rest of your head is basically shaved. So leaving the balding part with the longest hair and the thickest growing as the shortest so it does not contrast with depth. Anyway, that's my two cents on how I deal with it. Massaging the scalp, zinc, biotin, and citrulline so far are my picks, will try minoxidil next.
