Hello @AmazonSellersScociety, I'm from Afghanistan, and I'm interested in relocating to the UAE to pursue Amazon FBA as an individual, not as a company. Do I require a UAE e-commerce license for this venture? Additionally, would I need a visit visa for Dubai or a work visa for this purpose? Also, can I open a bank account there? The main reason for my move to the UAE is that in Afghanistan, we lack facilities like international bank accounts, such as PayPal or other international banking systems. Your guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

I wish you could help me answer this question which Amazon customer service seems to fail in answering my question. I set up my Amazon seller account in UAE from Japan. I used my Japanese details, address, passport,everything to apply and got approved. Now that I have my platform, I need to assign a bank account, but the drop down list for bank locations does not have Japan. They have other countries but not Japan. What am I supposed to do.

Hi. I wanted an Amazon storefront and I was advised to created the seller account so I did few days ago. I chose individual seller because and I was accepted. They asked me to provide my card details so I provided one without enough funds now they say my card is invalid meanwhile it expires 2027? What do I do?

You need to use a chargeable card - in case they tried to charge it as a test and the charge didn't go through then you need to make sure you have enough funds or that the card can work on Amazon so either use another card or contact your bank

If you are already registered as a seller in the US market then yes you can become a seller in the UAE. However registering directly from the Oman to Amazon UAE will not be possible

You are allowed to sell as an individual on Amazon according to Amazon however the legalities of how you are living in the UAE as an example is something you also need to consider and that is dependent on your status
