Travel days can be stressful, and we don't always handle it the best. With that said, we had a get time checking out the Seven Magic Mountains an art installation in the middle of the Nevada desert. We also make our way to Corn Creek Visitor Center / Museum just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. A must-see!

It is hard enough to pull a big rig without all the bad drivers on the road, people do not understand how much time it takes to stop a rig. I dont tune in to just see the fun stuff, I tune in to see the raw journey! Life is full of ups and downs, it is how you deal with the roller coaster ride that determines who you are. The side roads on that journey is where you find the fun stuff, the interesting stuff, the incredible stuff. Have fun on the way and be the best you can be! Love you guys! Ps. I have a three margarita night coming up because I have to give my cat a bath, its traumatic for both of us. Maybe if I give the cat a margarita before the bath it wont be so bad ☺.

Our family drove thru Vegas in 1962, there was basically one main road, nothing going on, no lights, 2 people walking down the street, sleepy little town then. My mom said, "they make this look like such a big deal on tv, this is nothing"!! ha! Was just there in 2019, yep, it's changed a little since '62!!

Boy, I know what you are talking about with the drivers in Vegas!! My daughter and family lived there and when ever I drove out there it was nuts , drivers doing what ever! Totally understand. Now when I go to CA I get through staying in one lane all the way out. It is crazy but I m not pulling a rig. They no longer live there. so been a long time. Loved that museum! Carl's Jr. has a sandwich called the Santa Fe Chicken, it's a grilled chicken breast with a green chili on it and some cheesy sauce..that's as hot as we like it. It's our 44th anniversary this year and our little dog Stella turns 15 in August, the car brings out her anxiety and we still snap at each other in heavy traffic situations...letting it all go is why we've survived this long. 😁😁😎😎👍👍

Punkin is so cute, my son's cat will yell and scream if it hears him on the other side of a shut door. He has some anxiety. On the not eating turtle, never eat wild ocean turtles, they eat things that are poisonous and it builds up in them and people die eating turtles in countries like china that don't follow the rules of no turtle fishing in the ocean. It is a very painful death when you eat a bad turtle. Sailors have known not to eat turtles for centuries. If the turtle is raised and fed well it would not be bad to eat. Stay safe and healthy.

I’ve camped there at least half a dozen times and have never seen a mosquito or a burro. Although, I’ve seen burros in town. I’m glad I could help with the Bloody Mary…. 💕

water is from the melting snow off those mountains and the springs are coming off the fault lines - water going through limestone and dolomite and the other side has a lot of sediment. that is a really neat museum - I know there is a mountain on the other side of Vegas call St. Charles - now I've seen snow at the top that mountain in May. It is high like Humphrey's Peak in Flagstaff.....

I think another good tip to add is to avoid the big city and park your big rigs just outside the hectic freeways and then just get a uber into where your going. Did I miss something in Vegas? I thought you were going to a place to see stuff. Then you just ended up going to a liquor store. If that is all you wanted I am sure you can order it online.

Just arrived home in Bremerton after a 7 week road trip to SoCal, Arizona and Utah. Was hoping to run into you (not literally!) at some point but no such luck. The final leg yesterday started in La Grande, Oregon with snow showers and was welcomed to the shores of Puget Sound by our beloved rains!

We just got back from Texas last week, we live in Olympia Washington When we wanted to avoid cities and looking on Google maps I would aready have our destination mapped, then i would just add a stop to a amall town on the hwy i wanted, then it would route us accordingly, it worked great!

We call it “red beer” when mixed with tomato juice. Question- every time I drive down to Arizona, I take 95. It is SOOOOO windy and I am in my van. Hope to be bringing my rv down in September and will drive the same route. How to know wind amounts and do you notice it on 95 I love camping at the Austin Hot Springs outside of Austin NV

I love my whiskey, do not try to mix with anything hot I don't like it. food or drink no hot or spicy. I agree that you might have to change your travel plans due some kind of circumstance.
