You have to understand that in the Philippines one of the worse insults there is is to call someone “Kuripot”, which means cheapskate. Being a cheapskate is an unforgivable sin, and nobody want to be with someone who is believed to be a cheapskate because it’s shameful, and will ruin their reputation. Do you get it? It’s the culture and you can’t judge someone from another culture in their own country by your culture.

If a woman asks you why you're so cheap it's a valid question. Why are you so cheap? You'll be a lonely man with lots of money. That sounds like a dreadful existence.

Thise gossip videos get more attention than most of my high effort videos unfortunatly. People love drama.

I am a Scotty fan, but to be honest, he did have a couple of drunken live streams at Phillies in Angeles that he took down. He didn't do or say anything that hadn't been said by thousands of guys before him that were drunk and out having a good time. The difference was that he was filming a live video at the time. A lot of comments were begging him to stop and others encouraging him to continue. It really just played right into the hands of those self-righteous and sanctimonious youtube channels that live off of being haters and outright Karen's.

Well of course almost all the municipalities bordering Malaybalay. But also there's Claveria, there's Libonia which is close to CDO. But also there's Maragusan northeast of Davao, it looks beautiful online. How much time have you spent next door in Valencia? Is it pretty nice?

Thanks. I'll look those up. Everyone I talked to about valencia mentioned how it's to much concrete and they preferred malaybalay. With the festival going on I haven't explored outside a small part of the city yet. I'm sure ill get around to it though.

I know that Marawi City had serious problems as late as 2017, and the rural parts near that city might not be advisable to visit. Good travels.

North American men are often like a bunch of old women. Look at the vlogging scene in Thailand, most people just get on with their own channels. Why? The Westerners who go there are usually European whereas the Philippines is mostly Americans.

The women here have disrespected their husbands to the point that the men leave them with the children. This is terrible for the children because the boys grow up to become women and the girls grow up to be modern feminists. The only good solution is to let the men raise the children when they part with the wife but the court isn't going to let us fix our society. They need to foster the upbringing of unstructured future criminals. Can you explain why you think Thailand is more for a manly man? Without a doubt great content and quite the story teller his guest. However you can feel the camera drifting towards under age women or breast shots from afar zooming most of which have been deleted in a hasty effort to clean house after legal action intervention . The evidence is out there he in his lust for under age girls instead of properly waiting 6 months in one instance to meet her legally , he did a 180 regarding his schedule to get his fix throwing caution out the window regarding the law . His emails are published and his backtracking ( Covering his rear ) apparent by vid deleting . Again entertaining guy with anxiety issues if you watch and learn his personality . I might be wrong in fact this very vlogger hosting while talking about his women chasing endeavors seems with the accent and hand gestures a switch hitter but again I could be wrong and still enjoy his channel despite my opinion . Difference is he's not law breaking unlike what evidence has been put out there publicly on his guest . Peace to all and enjoy this short life to its fullest . One thing that I will add as I hear people talk about babe a roonies ect and meeting the right one ect . Let's compare the food "pastil" in Kabacan vs here, it's 10 pesos there and 25 here. 🤷 I ate at some "karenderia" in Moalboal in the middle of the busy touristy area, I asked for half rice to be surprised that their serving of half rice is more than our serving of 1 rice here.

And again, I just have to reiterate. It's no longer safe here like it used to be. Do not leave your belongings unattended. People would enter stores/offices at night even with CCTV and even if it's near enforcement.

@kell7195 it's got a receiver that plugs into the c-type port on the cell phone. You can get it where multiple mics use the same port too. There is an issue with it though. It makes the phone so large that it can't be used with a gimble. Are you planning to get a set up to vlog or are you just curious?

@@expatlifestyle2000 this year might be abnormal because of el nino/la nina? I have been driving through that area since the 1990s. Typically Malaybalay receives 112 inches of rain annually at only 800m elevation versus 66 inches in Medellin Colombia at 1600m and 25 inches in Oaxaca at 1500m. One time I was on my motorcycle and was suffering hypothermia from being wet. I slept over at Pine Hills Hotel in Malaybalay and sat in a hot bath tub for an hour to warm up. I am back in Mexico again, which I think I prefer over the Philippines. I will be back in PI in June. I may know more about the Philippines than the vlogger you interviewed. I was there since year 1990. Lived in Philippines for ~27 or my 58 years. Been all over on a Suzuki Raider and Isuzu Croswind. I sold everything in 2019 and returned to North America.

Sounds like you have had quite the international life. I only lived in Mexico for a few months but the similarities are undeniable. I'm curious, why do you prefer Mexico?

@@expatlifestyle2000 to expound a bit, I already have residency in Mexico soon to convey to permanent residency card and soon after that citizenship. Can own land here in my own name. In Mexico I can find areas of no congestion, without need to go far up into muddy mountains in Philippines. Much more pleasant for relaxing drives where I do not see a house for 50 miles, e.g. Baja Sur. I actually prefer the (traditional, not restaurant/fast) food in Philippines though. Mainly Mexico because I do not trust what the Asians will do when the pandemic comes back again, which it will soon. Philippines seems wonderful but it wears you down after the years and decades, although it is much improved now, e.g. double-laned (widened) all the major roads since I was gone, but still Filipinos use the new right lane as a parking lot. Frustrations abound in the Philippines, although it is a delightful country in many ways. I am contemplating to have a retirement/vacation home there, but I dare not commit to living over there again until after the looming return of the aforementioned. Why do you think they mandated the national id. Because they will mandate something else soon. And I refuse to take those. My health is non-negotiable.

Oddly enough in my city the murder rate was essentially 0. A close by town was considered the murder capitol of the USA for a long period of time. Less than an hour away from each other but VERY different people. America is wild.
