Nigerians remain fingercrossed on these lofty promises dont be too excited. Action speaks louder than words. Let tNNPC have a veekly petroleum segments televising update and progress of ongoing turnaround maintenance in any project for transparency and accountability purposes . It saddens my heart that NNPC refineries could be left in such delapilated state while we are comfortable importing fuel at a cost 10 times more than cost of reviving and facelifting it. This TAM PROJECT was one of my PET PROJECTS as co initiator of this and many other projects since 1995. We proposed , fought for GED and GEC approval but it was muted because of corrupt practices and lack of vision.

Commendable. There will be a turnaround in Nigeria within the next 2 years. I have implicit confidence in Tinubu. He has the Midas touch. He is an accountant. He has a credible roadmap for Nigeria’s progress. You just wait and see.

One could see that a great amount of money was spent in the design and building of this refinery. It is a crime that such world class facility is carelessly abandon and neglected. What Country does that to its people? Lease or sell or be into joint partnership with world class professionals that Operate oil refineries so that Nigerians could learn on how to run a refinery and benefit from it. This falls on the leadership of the Country. No good Leader should allow such a waste to happen on their watch. Nigeria needs good hands - on Leadership.
