In the second part of our TMJ tour ( • Tour of the TMJ (Part ... ) we showed several things that can go wrong in the TMJ: displaced discs, slowly degenerating joints, and injuries.
In this video we look into some of the ways TMJ issues can affect teeth. We do this using a combination of BiteFX animations and cases presented on BiteFX webinars.
We’ll consider these situations:
o Slow and rapid condylar deterioration
o Displaced discs that are recaptured and not recaptured
o And what is happening when there is an unstable joint - one that is changing over time.
