I’m currently going through a breakup and this video was exactly what I needed. Seeing how intently Ben listens to you and cares about what you need made me realize that I deserve that too. My boyfriend and I were opposites but seeing how well you and Ben complement each other proved that you just need someone who is going to be willing to work at it with you everyday. I’m with Jenn I LOATH games. I’m so straight forward. I will tell you that I’m into you or I’m not. I don’t keep people guessing. I also respond to texts right away unless I’m busy which happens but once someone starts to be inconsistent it’s like just tell the other person what’s up don’t keep them in the dark and don’t make up excuses/lie about it. That’s even worse.

This was such a beautiful and honest q&a. I haven’t been in a relationship for a very long time, but when i do find a significant other, i definitely want to revisit this video to remind myself of how i can make myself a better person for a healthy relationship. In fact, a lot of your advice is applicable to relationships with family and friends, so i’ll def try to keep them in mind and try to heed them (like on how to deal with the “crumbs!”). You guys are truly couples goals and family goals. Thanks for sharing with us how you guys are growing together as a unit.

I could have watched this forever!!! You guys are so great together and interesting to watch! As someone that's single, it's so nice to get insight on that you're allowed to have your type and be attracted to certain things, be yourself, etc. I've never been attracted to the "cool type" of guys and I don't like when guys play games either, and sometimes I feel bad for not wanting to deal with it, and "packing up my bags" with those guys, lol. But you guys give me hope and show that it is possible to come across someone that is your type where it doesn't feel awkward or forced. Subscribed! Thanks for sharing! 💕

I love Ben's closing comments about you being a good example of how opposites attract. I just recently started dating my boyfriend (it's been a long time since I've been in a relationship) I worry about how different we are and can let that get in the way of things since I grew up in a household where my parents were opposites and didn't communicate. It's so beautiful how you (Jenn), as a creator, continue to strive for authenticity in your videos, your fashion, your book club (!!!), and in your philosophy of life. I've been an avid watcher of your videos since I was a sophomore in high school, and I'm 24 now-- it's crazy to witness your evolutions and your growth, and I'm so grateful for all the wisdom you continue to share with us. A huge thank you to you & Ben for being so vulnerable in these videos. It truly gives me hope that I will be able to build a strong relationship in the future (definitely returning to this video for advice) even when I still often feel an insurmountable sense of loneliness. Loved this video so much. You can so clearly see the love and friendship that you two have and now your little one will get to experience and share that! I also feel like I learned a lot through this video! What Ben said about active listening really struck a chord with me. Sometimes I’m listening to the other person only to think about what I’ll counter with. Definitely a good reminder to try to be a better listener.

From the way she has described her personality in this video and in the past I feel like Jenn and I are very similar, I also snap at little things without realizing how much I hurt myself and the people around me. When you talked about checking your body first I was like 🤯 yes that’s so true! I get overwhelmed by emotions, then feel sick in my stomach and then I feel more stressed and transfer it to others and it’s just a downward spiral…thank you for teaching me a way to work better on myself ❤️

Appreciated the role play as it really helped me to understand how a conversation like that can be played out. I had an ongoing crumbs on the counter situation with three housemates and instead of saying something, I just bottled it up and it resulted in a lot of resentment
