I’ve not had any complaints, but suspect they all enjoy the view and the birds and flying insects that my yard brings.

Thank you. For the most part, the trees take care of themselves now. I only helped when they were younger.

It's why is also important to try and create an ecstatically pleasing orchard layout. I'm just starting out but am beginning to realise that it's a relaxing feeling to be enveloped in an environment of abundant beauty.

Totally. Humans are naturally drawn to green trees and plants. It’s icing on the cake that we’re able to recreate the setting in our front and backyard.

I know the feeling of having a view of fruit trees . At my house I have the backyard in a L shape , with the kitchen and adjacent family room looking at the trees . The kitchen view has two persimmon trees that are beautiful loaded with orange fruit , then the leaves foliage looks like the Appalachians in fall . To the right I have lemons and oranges and grapefruits that are full in winter to spring . So nice to see fruit October to April .

@@TropicalCentralValleyand I've changed my thought on regular size fruit trees 25 feet tall and spaced apart to many dwarf sized trees making a food forest

Your climate is a bit more favorable to the growing of tropical fruit trees than mine. That being the case, trees may be larger, whereas my climate keeps them artificially small.

Thank you. The majority of my guavas ripen in September to December. Specific to the Tropical Pink and Ruby Supreme, they ripen around September.

Can you make a video on how dense you grow your plants? I have some mango plants by Tucson AZ and am worried about the up coming winter. I’d like some inspiration for evergreens I can plant next to them to protect them. Thank you!
@TropicalCentralValley
@TropicalCentralValley Жыл бұрын
I don’t know that I have a dedicated video covering the tropical of plant density, but I preach it in virtually all of my videos. Some of my trees are a few inches apart, with the majority about 2-3 feet apart. What’s the best tree from a caloric/nutritional perspective?
@TropicalCentralValley
@TropicalCentralValley Жыл бұрын
That’s a loaded question. For aerobic individuals, it’s got to be the starfruit. For energy hungry individuals, practically any mango will do. For folks who need a lower glycemic index, the Miracle Berry and Jamun fruits. For folks who just want a ton of Vitamin C, the Barbados Cherry and guava will do the trick.

I did. The fruits tastes a lot like your regular cherry, but with a hint of tropical. It’s hard to describe.

I can’t confirm or deny that, but there’s an awful number of organizations that do not properly secure their network. Totally, when there is a breeze and the trees start dancing, it’s mesmerizing.

Can you grow mamey and/or dorian?
@TropicalCentralValley
@TropicalCentralValley 6 ай бұрын
I have several Mamey sapote, some in the ground. The main issue with Mamey is the duration of the fruits on the tree, as they require an insanely long ripening period. As for durian, technically yes. I have one in the ground, but HEAVILY protected.
