NON-SPOILER SINCE THE GAME DOESN’T TELL YOU: What you were getting at 18:00 - 18:18 is accurate as that is Malenia’s auntie, Ranni’s direct auntie, and (you might’ve gotten a hint) Rennala’s twin sister. This also makes this Miquella’s, Radahn’s, Rykard’s, Mohg’s, Morgott’s, Godwyn’s auntie. Even further, Marika’s, Radagon’s sister-in-law. Now you know who was putting hands on you. She’s a part of that whole family.

@@NeloBladeOfRanni This isn't entirely true. Malenia never actually entered her prime. When she phase transitions into Malenia Goddess of Rot, that is her ascending into godhood. Since it's explained that when the Scarlet Bloom flowers for a third time, she becomes a god. So we kill her before she even enters her prime.

Fun fact! Rellana is actually the twin sister of Rennala, and left with Messmer to the Shadowlands. It is implied that she is the younger of the two, seeing as Rennala became the queen while Rellana became a Carian Knight. It is also implied that she is the wife of Messmer.

Gonna be honest here, Malenia was far from her best when you fight her in game. By the time you get to her, she's blind, half her organs have rotten away, and she's constantly fighting to remember her own name. Her waterfowl attack? That's her flailing about, trying to hit something she can't even see.

@minasthirith6314 Even though phase 1 malenia probably wasn't her prime, her sword skills are top tier. Her master was a blind swordsman capable of sealing away the rot god so i am more than certain that he taught her very well how to kick ass without being able to see. The waterfowl dance is a perfect example of that. However, phase 2 is undoubtedly her prime. She's a literal damn god in phase 2 while still keeping her incredible sword skills she learned from her master

They're all great games. Elden Ring is a good place to start, it's one of the easier ones (although this DLC is absolutely brutal) and if you're stuck on a boss there's always somewhere else you can go or another way round etc before coming back later.

Hey, I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the standing heavy attacks do way more poise break, I know you can't really charge them up, but that helps out lot more in my experience
