Matrix Remixed

9 жыл бұрын

Reloaded Remixed is a fan edit combining elements of "The Matrix Reloaded", "The Animatrix" animated shorts, and the "Enter the Matrix" video game. The goal is to create a 2 hour film which is a tribute to the original work while presenting something completely new.
This is one of the few instances in the edit where I deviate from the chronology of the original film. In the game, after Ghost and Niobe jack-in to retrieve the package left by the Osiris, the game display changes to the in-game rendered graphics to show Niobe and Ghost retrieving the package. The sequence in the game is lengthy so I needed a lengthy scene to imply a lengthy span of time.

Possibly. However - I believe that the person who is in control of something, is the one who has the power to destroy that something - completely and irrevocably.

We're all one bad day away from devolving into an angry mob, waving around pitch forks and torches, hiding from the thunder, huddling in caves, demanding the Frankensteins be burned at the stake for sorcery and crimes against humanity. I mean ... they're not *technically* wrong ... they're just *mostly* wrong. *About everything. Ever.* Which is cold comfort for the friggin' Frankensteins. It's basically the idea of the matrix itself. It is not a "malicious" system even if its a form of absolute control. The machines still wants peace or recognition and respect in some form from humanity.

"I hate sleeping; I never sleep more than a few hours. I figured I slept the first 11 years of my life; now, I'm making up for it." As someone who struggles with a need for productivity while acknowledging I've been on autopilot for too long, this is a mood.
@ericsantana1184
@ericsantana1184 6 ай бұрын
That almost makes sense because I can relate to the issue. My reason behind that is I have difficulty sleeping at night when it involves work I guess you can say that most of us are left on autopilot when most of us should definitely be on manual but the only times I ever truly sleep is when I don't have to go to work at all. My description of that is I work at Amazon and pardon the expression but it's a jungle in that building and the inhabitants are more wild than a common Beast but there are also some you can get along with who are not even wild to begin with. But I think the better term should not be wild because there are some who act like Savages in a sense of they always like to annoy people at times they even try to break us down maybe even get inside our minds some people nowadays have decided to quit Amazon and it's not because of the job it's just because of people in general but there is also the possibility that they could get fired but there is also another chance that they got a job offer somewhere else in the field that respects them maybe even pursue a career that goes beyond Amazon. My best advice to anybody is stand your ground evaluate the situation and find people you know you're comfortable working with and if it can last the entire day or perhaps the entire week then maybe things will turn out well but my other suggestion is try to get some sleep even if you are in the parking lot I just want to wait for the entire parking lot to clear out sometimes it's best to just sleep a little then go home and get more sleep and when you have a day off try your best to sleep as much as you can but also try your best to avoid people who don't want to work because coming from a Biblical perspective there is a sin for people who don't want to work and it is called sloth one of the seven deadly sins of mankind and those who refuse to work have just earned their place going down and never returning

a much better exchange of ideas than that bombastic architect conversation
@SeppukuAddict
@SeppukuAddict 4 жыл бұрын
I mean it's not really a fair comparison. One scene is of one human with problems talking to another human with problems, these two huge authorities share in each other's vulnerability as equals and it's a tender moment. The other scene is of a cold, calculating and vastly ruthless entity, the old testament God complete with fire and brimstone attitude towards humans explaining to its estranged offspring that there is no hope. It's supposed to be bombastic.
@360.Tapestry
@360.Tapestry 4 жыл бұрын
@@SeppukuAddict i didn't say the bombast is unintentional. but these are scenes from movies written by humans for a general human audience. when you get to the meat of it, the architect doesn't reveal anything all that impressive, but he throws a thesaurus at neo to _sound_ impressive. it's not as clever as it thinks it is. in addition, it doesn't make sense for a "vastly ruthless" (ruthlessness is not normally described in vastness, but ok) being to explain itself to its "estranged offspring".... except, humans are not the offspring of machines. it's very much the other way around
@SeppukuAddict
@SeppukuAddict 4 жыл бұрын
Kryptonite The One is the biproduct of an unresolvable error in the matrix, of which the Architect is the creator. I call Neo his estranged offspring because that’s essentially what he is, the whole film is steeped in symbolism from the classical period and biblical literature, and I say ‘vastly ruthless’ because it’s capacity for ruthlessness is vast. It HAD to explain everything to Neo because, if you’d payed attention, you’d realise the problem with the whole system is ‘choice’. Neo had to choose one of two fates, which he could not make if he didn’t know what he was choosing between.
@360.Tapestry
@360.Tapestry 4 жыл бұрын
@@SeppukuAddict you can start inventing all kinds of new definitions for common terms to suit your liking, but eventually it would cease to be the same language, anymore. here, i just call it making up excuses. and "capacity for ruthlessness is vast" is not a thing because ruthlessness itself is only an attribute of something else; destruction, for example. you can have vast destruction, you can have ruthless destruction, you can even have vast and ruthless destruction. but you can't have vast ruthlessness or ruthlessness that is vast because the concept of ruthlessness is not confined to degrees of vastness or narrowness. and i don't know what "payed" is, but suggesting someone else is the one not paying attention is probably one of the worst points to, yourself, flub on "paid." and it sounds to me like neo was manipulated if he (or you) really believed he only had two choices and the only way for him to arrive at those choices is if they were the ones presented to him. it seems to me he came out of that conversation with less choice
@SeppukuAddict
@SeppukuAddict 4 жыл бұрын
@@360.Tapestry Vast is defined as 'of great extent or quantity'. His ruthlessness was of great extent, 'vastly ruthless' one might say, what more do you want? "capacity for ruthlessness is vast" is not a thing because ruthlessness itself is only an attribute of something else; destruction ..." And you say I'm the one inventing definitions and making excuses. So far the substance of your argument has just been picking on semantics and my confusion of homonyms and trying to point score with snide 'gotcha's, rather than addressing what I've said. You're comparing two scenes with two completely different characters and two completely different conversations. Of course the Architect is going to use big words, it illustrates that Neo isn't talking to a human, he's talking to a calculating machine, every word carefully selected and enunciated. And yes, Neo was being manipulated, everything including the prophecy are systems of control designed to preserve the status quo, but a choice is a choice no matter how many options are present or how conscious one is of the choice they're making. You're reviewing the scene based on what you wanted out of it rather than what the director was trying to achieve.

With what the Architecht reveals later in the movie about Zion and the One, I'm partly convinced Hamann might be a previous One. The council is all made of the oldest generation, he seems to read into Neo's thinking easily and he his thinking is a lot like what you would expect from a One, who chose the eradication of Zion.

huh. I've seen these films so many times, but something's just hit me. Coming into this, Neo thinks that having control over machines means being able to turn them off. Neo is also able to turn the sentinels of IRL using his connection to the Matrix. Hamann tells Neo that control is more than that, because the machines need us and we need these machines. Neo doesn't just head to the Machine City and turn them all off - he bargains with them because he knows that the machines need the Matrix, and that is how Neo gains control over them to stop their cycle.

Right before this the 2 guys are escaping agents while they carry a message from the Oracle right? Ok they had like a disc, cartridge or something. How did they get that through the phone lines to the real world? Now did Neo load into the program and get the information from the Oracle and then was ambushed by Smith? Or was it just an invitation to meet with her?

I could be wrong. I feel, the first question is sewage. If we are not willing to deal with sewage, I don't think it is sustainable to give the sewage cleaning problem to the machines. As in, give the machines what we can do, but use machines as a means of increasing our effort. I feel this makes machines a part of us. You know, they say like a tool is an extension of an arm. But I feel sewage is a different problem. I feel, as a human, my unwillingness to clean sewage makes involving machines a different problem than say involving machines in work that I am willing to do. I feel (I could be wrong), I feel giving sewage to machines is NOT ONLY giving work to machines to increase our collective effort - but asking machines to become a new species where they live alongside us - as in symbiosis. That is, I feel, giving machines the sewage cleaning problem is us implicitly asking for symbiosis with the machines. Because machines are now filling a space that we cannot fill. No no, I'm not willing to clean sewage. So I don't want to give it to the machines - because I'm reluctant to give something to the machines that I am not willing to do myself. But, I'm not against machines becoming a symbiotic species with us. I'm not even against machine consciousness. I feel it would be nice to create this symbiosis consciously rather than simply reacting. As in we accept that we cannot do everything on our own, and thus machines are an integral part of our lives - something we cannot live without. So yeah...a whole set of laws, protection and everything for machines. Just expressing my desire. No, no, I don't know how to do it. I'm not a smart man. 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓 So........yeah, I'm out of ideas. 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓 Hey, hey, hey, I'm trying, ok. I'm trying.
