Ann, you are probably getting tired of hearing this but thank you for bringing back the wish to craft again. I'm a senior crafter found I'd become a collector of craft materials rather than a user. Also found myself too unsure to make cards anymore as I didn't have the latest in vogue items etc etc. Thanks to this series, I'm now looking at my unused stash, looking at your videos and suddenly my stash is exciting again. Hope you are getting as much joy from your craft, as you are giving to all of us. Stay safe, well and be happy.

You are spot-on about "needing" a ton of crafting materials and striving for perfection. Crafters get caught up in the catalogs with products that promise to result in what some demonstrators tempt you with. I've come to the same conclusion you have -- owning all these products just cause more stress than enjoyment. You are a gem to be so honest with your followers. Kudos to you, and thank you for sharing your creativity with us crafters.

I know I've found this a few months late but you are correct in what you said in your video. What happened to crafting to enjoy it. I miss the scrapping parties we used to do. Didn't matter what you worked on....just bring your stuff and enjoy yourself. Of course, we always ooooed and ahhhhed over what our fellow crafters did. We'd share supplies, food, techniques etc. I, too, love the relove your stash videos. I am sure I have enough paper to last the rest of my life without ever having to purchase another piece, lol. I enjoy that you remind us to use what we have. I think it is you and another person that leave their "mistakes" in their videos. It's great to see that no one is perfect. Plus, I enjoy seeing what one does to said 'mistake". Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I pray life has greatly improved since you filmed this episode.

Loved watching you today (I always do) but today ,mi was like I have that stamp , I have that die and I can actually make a card without having to buy things , wait for them and by that point forgotten what I was going to make with the things. I think we all get into the mind frame of having to use the same as what the tutorial says and personally I have forgotten to think for myself . I’m loving this series so far, I have a lot of that stuff in my stash already. I did a lot of retail therapy 2 years ago when my dog was going through Chemo ( he’s fine 2 years cancer free ) but I would be stuck 2 hours from home and would go to all the craft stores while he was getting treated. Absolutely love the cards & will be giving them a go. Love the idea of layering paper scraps to get dimension . I’ve been using colored foamy sheets. Now I can use up paper instead of buying foam sheets. Plus less clutter. Thank you

Dear Ann, I fully agree with VeeCee ! It's so difficult to get all the scrapbooking supplies in my little country ... I have to purchase most of them online, when possible, many items are NOT delivered to my country ! And if so, imagine how expensive it cost to me ! Yes we love crafting and we must absolutely stick to that ... we must find our joy in doing what we love doing with what we have at hand ! I am going to try this plus the wonderful laminated words with gilding flakes...........when I manage to get some free time to craft. Ann I am so glad I am not the only messy crafter! Apart from the crafting, I want to congratulate you for coping with such a bad year, a house move, and all the decorating of your new home. You are one gutsy girl!!! I have also had to do home decorating alone etc but not had to earn a living from crafting and I think you should give yourself the biggest pat on the back for what you have achieved this year !!
