in my opinion that vivid red fabric looks a bit tacky for the rear. i would let it sit as is for now. just be patient you will find it eventually. The car is turning out great!!

I relate so much recently finding something under the passenger seat too... My new daily is a 2012 TSX Sport Wagon that had a wet passenger floor front to back randomly due to the AC drain hose cracking, dripping all water inside instead of out. The fear you had taking the seat in and out was exactly the same I had. Unfortunately 1 slip and I gashed my door grip, which is a rubberized handle and like 100 bucks to replace lol... We might not be building engines, but we're doing what we're capable of for the passion we love👌 Side note: if it wasn't so hard to find in MN I also would have a Sport Cross. Got lucky on the Sport Wagon find at sub 60k miles. A friend of mine went Sport Cross with the same choices! Definitely 2 of the underrated and rare JDM wagons that made it Stateside.

Leave the rear seats as you've got them, I like how connected it looks to the original interior while also being totally unique with the Recaro's and optional door card fabric; it all still looks like it be a factory option. Pulling the Recaro and Door Card fabric together so well makes customizing the rear inconsequential at this point...

On vacation and still uploading a video for us real MVP. Btw that front fold seat was designed to load your ski, surfboard, and other outdoor stuff if I recall. There was a catalog from Lexus that had a photo demostrating that feature.

You can spray tint on the fabric to make it darker. Or dye the color. That way at least the red will match better with the front seats.

Previous owner of my IS300 drank coffee and smoked. The carpet and center console was stained with coffee. I still have cigarette burns on the sun visors and a pillar lol smmfh

Hey man great video!, I have some recaro sr3’s I’m about to throw in mine, after watching this definitely going with the bride ro’s now. Did you have to buy the bride adapter plates I saw they make them and don’t wanna waste 100 more bucks if I don’t need to thanks again keep up the good work !

I've attended a couple meets and the younger crowd is some what undisciplined. Yet to learn to enjoy the moment not destroy it. Revving engines, speeding out the parking lot, loud music, 2 stepping, acting rowdy, etc.

Having three different shades of red on the interior would drive me nuts. If anything I would just do black with red stitching like the steering wheel.

Well eventually, if you have enough people sit in the back. It will darken the mesh and slighty match the rest of the darker red 😅😅😅
