Don Bluth is the only one that holds it up there with Disney - An American Tail, Land Before Time, All Dogs go to Heaven, Anastasia, Thumbelina are all such iconic films that deserve just as much recognition as the Disney films of that era ❤ they dont make them like they used to!!

Don Bluth in opinion is like an orthodox holy man of animation. There's a spiritual side to Don Bluth especially when it comes to ethereal music in An American Tail, The Land Before TIme, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Rock-a-Doodle, Anastasia, Thumbelina, Pepple and the Penguin and Titan AE.

Don Bluth made many wonderful films, and while some were not as impactiful or as loved, he brought us TLBT ,AMT and ADGTH, and in my opninion his greatest film Secret of Nihm! He helped brought out fond memories from the years we were kids and i salute him for it and i wish Don the best and a thank you for bringing these stories to life and into our collective childhoods!

Watching this made me literally tear up. Don Bluth is one of these directors who know how to create remarkable stories with his animation. He is like how Spielberg is; he shows how his heroes are just regular everyday people like us, how they're able to get through dangerous times and how a family can get separated and reunited because the importance of love within family is important.

More than an amazing talented man. When things went right, Don Bluth proved to be the fulcrum for a creative core of artistic geniuses... along with a crack team of technical back-up... and the indispensable element of business and financial support. A critical combination. Bluth's team worked the impossible by intentionally and successfully rivaling even the best of Disney animation. Very, very few ever came this far.
