You know something? I really wish Martin Rosen directed more animated films based on Richard Adams novels. He really would've felt like the next Ralph Bakshi.

Watching this made me literally tear up. Don Bluth is one of these directors who know how to create remarkable stories with his animation. He is like how Spielberg is; he shows how his heroes are just regular everyday people like us, how they're able to get through dangerous times and how a family can get separated and reunited because the importance of love within family is important.

So true, the fact back in the 1980s Don Bluth with the only competitor to beat Disney at their own animation game, An American Tales beats Great Mouse Detective and Land Before Time beats Oliver & Company at the box office back in the 1980s.

I posted here before but I suppose it must have looked like spam or something when I hoped to speak with this channels creator. That said, I was on Prince of Darkness, we created the demon canaster and a few other effects. I wanted to share some behind the scenes photos, and secrets of how we did what we did, but it felt odd openly speaking about it. I dont bring this up out of arrogance in any way, I simply wanted to share out of respect for what was created here. It is nice seeing that others care for these films still, and with the opening music it was even nicer. It was a wonderful series of experiences on that film, and Im humbled to be part of it. Thats all I wanted to say, that and great job. What you've done here is appreciated.

My thanks goes to you. I'll email you today and share a bit. It was one of those things that seemed normal at the time, as did many other experiences that we all look back on with a sense of wonder. I speak of everyone. Again, I won't talk about too much here only because this isn't about me, your work is about you and I won't distract from that. Prince of Darkness has finally found it's audience. People caught up to it, and I do wish it happened earlier but that's okay. It's the same with The Monster Squad. Fred Decker deserved better.
