For those still confused as why Magikarp won against all these legendaries, basically he had some pokémon before Magikarp that set up spikes/stealth rocks (thats also the reason why Dialga had lost a few hp, because the opponent switched in after he set up spikes/stealth rock, and thats what also happend to the other pokémons). Now about the Magikarp itself, it was holding the "Focus Sash" item, that prevented it from dying after taking that huge ammount of damage from Dialga, leaving it with 1 hp, and the cherry on top, Magikarp had flail, a move that scales on damage depending on the ammount of hp the user has, since the Magikarp had 1 hp, it could destroy anything on its path. Edit: Forgot to mention, that during the setup for making Magikarp a literal god, the opponent started with lugia, then, the guy set up spikes, stealth rock, and toxic spikes with 3 different pokémon, that had died, but then he changed to Smeargle, to which he used the move spore to make lugia fall asleep, then when the opponent switched to Dialga, he used baton pass, and then changed to Magikarp, that survived the hit from Dialga's Roar of Time, the rest of the fight, you already know. Edit 2: Dialga was supposed to destroy the Magikarp after using Roar of Time, because Magikarp used Flail, but didnt faint Dialga right away, but Roar of Time had a recoil, where Dialga had to Rest a turn to be able to use any kind of move, including Roar of Time, so Magikarp used Flail again, and it was gg. Edit 3 lol: Just correcting my error here, i deleted the part where i talked about sticky web, because the pokémon game that is being played is from generation 5 (Pokémon black and white, pokémon black 2 and white 2), and sticky web was introduced only on the generation 6 games (Pokémon X and Y, pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire). Anyway, after searching some more, i found the original video, i can now explain the real reason Magikarp outspeeded all of these legendaries, on the Pokémon competitive scene, there are hidden mechanics (that nowadays arent really hidden anymore) that totally changes the way you play on competitive, these mechanics are called IVs and EVs, IVs are basically individual values that each pokémon have, these individual values determine how strong your pokémon naturally is, how does the game do this? Basically, each Pokémon stat has a set of IVs, these IVs are completly random, and these IVs change your stats, they increase your stats from 1 IV, up to 31 extra stat points (from gen 1- gen 2, the max IVs are 15 for each stat). For EVs, they are called effort values, these EVs increase depending on the pokémon you kill, each pokémon gives a set amount of EVs per faint, and these EVs change for each pokémon, for example, Marills give 2 HP EVs for each kill; Each 4 EVs you get on that stat, your pokémon will get an increase of 1 point on the stat you farmed those 4 EVs (depending on the pokémon you faint; dont forget that every pokémon gives different sets of EVs, from generation [except for evolutionary lines, because they give the same stat EVs, but for each evolutionary stage, the EVs gained increase, such as the Bagon line, that increases 1 attack EV if you kill a Bagon, 2 for a Shelgon, and 3 for Salamance] {Also, splited evolutionary lines gives different EVs, for example, the Oddish evolutionary line, gives 1 sp attack for Oddish, 2 for Gloom, and for Vileplume, 3 sp attack EVs for each kill, but if its a Bellossom, you will get 3 sp defense EVs per kill}) Additional information: Max EVs for each stat for gen 1-5 are 255, but for gen 6-9, its 252, and also, the max EVs you can put on a pokémon, goes all the way up to 510 from gen 3-9 (gen 1 has a different EVs system). Now, why did i gave a lesson about IVs and EVs? To reach the part where i wanted, Base Stat, base stat in pokémon are basically, the base of the pokémon stats, these Base Stats are impossible to reach, and they only serve as a base to tell how high a pokémon stat is. Magikarp Base Stat in speed is 80, while all of these legendary pokémon have a Base Stat on speed of 80+, the real reason Magikarp outsped all of these pokémon, and killed them, was because, it had max EVs in attack and speed, and possibly 31 ivs in attack and speed, + before the Smeargle used baton pass, he used Belly drum, a status move that gave the user a 6 stage damage buff (1 stage is 50%, max amount of stages are 6, so its a 300% damage buff), and then Smeargle used baton pass, that not only allowed you to switch into an Ally, but also passed down status that you cant normally pass to a pokémon from a normal switch (status like: Boosted stats, lowered stats, etc), and then, Magikarp could sweep all of these legendaries. Another information, there were 3 other pokémon that the enemy had, they were: Kyogre, Shaymin, and Ho-oh, Shaymin was the fastest, with a 100 base speed, but still got outspeeded by Magikarp.
