Sad to say …. First of all I’m a 200% a Freddie Mercury fan! I see the greatness in him and what he’s accomplished… He is the True founder and Leader of Queen. He took 2 musicians Brian and Roger,2 people who couldn’t make smile work… yes they’re educated but not enough to make their band work. Freddie comes along names the band Queen and brought them into stardom and huge wealth. But now you’ve got people saying Adam Lambert is A better singer than Freddie Mercury. You’ve got 2 traitors Brian and Roger who emerged after 30 years, seeing the opportunity to finally get the attention they never received when Freddie was alive, jealous of Freddie they come back as Queen ,which doesn’t exist anymore …. Queen died with Freddie that was his band ,he started it. They get Adam Lambert to join Queen betraying FREDDIES legacy ,And Lambert trying to fill FREDDIES shoes, and 2 musicians who finally gain attention by touring with Lambert. Don’t tell me they are doing this to honor FREDDIES legacy and music, but to capitalize from it. Adam gaining fame cause he can’t make it work for himself so he parades himself around to try and fill FREDDIES shoes. Adam along with Brian and Roger can EAT FREDDIES DUST …. GET IT TRU YOUR HEAD …. FREDDIE MERCURY CAN NEVER BE FORGOTTEN TO BE THE BEST SINGER,PERFORMER AND I CONIC LEGEND THAT EVER LIVED ….. NEVER ! Freddie Mercury FOREVER ,

@@robbinvanderzwart7452 Then your naive . Log into The Freddie Mercury fan club thousands upon thousands of people comment their opinions and I know there right ! And yes they can be THAT COLD ! They’re already disrespecting Freddie . Why do you think John Deacon left the Band ? Why do you think the reason John doesn’t talk to them or associates with them ? Do some research you’ll find the truth . I did ! That’s why I call them all traitors and Adam ? Ha he’ll never come close to filling Freddie’s shoes . If he was that great why can’t he make it on his own ? Think about it ! it’s 30 years later and Freddie is still talked about that speaks. Volumes!

Freddie Mercury was a very gifted talented human being who had a brilliant voice. l can't believe Queen the group were told not to do the Live Aid concert in July 1985😱 l am so glad Freddie took no notice of the advice he was given and he took part in the concert he took a risk and it paid off for Queen the group.

I can, buy all his memorabilia and put it in a museum. This is how you put the lid on Freddie. He gives nothing back to his fans to go and visit - like Star Wars, Star Trek and Ray Harryhausen exhibitions. Fans can go and see. Thanks for nothing Mary. Seen them 3 times with Freddie. Total farce

@@stumpusMaximus It's an excellent point but where would you put it all. We don't have a rock n roll museum, which is a disappointment. I'm hoping the crown and cloak end up in the V&A. Mary lives in Freddie's house, so you couldn't turn it into a Graceland. It's a huge clear out and a huge shame.

You bet i did imagine Freddie was just that lovely person his collaborators friends directly testify here; you can see that, for instance, in his few video interviews by the way he always kindly interacted with whoever asked him questions, the way he laughed with them, or how he did almost reject the question when somebody asked him how it was to be "the leader of a great band like Queen", or silly questions like that. They're really great: none of them 4 acted like THE leader, and that's just one of the strong good reasons why they did never split (like tendencially rock and roll groups do), 'couse they're one of the rare truly democratic bands in rock'n'roll. Viva Queen! CIAO! ❤👍🏻😸✌🏻❤

When he was on stage, he was exactly who his fans wanted! Freddie Loved Being The Singer, Frontman, and many more talents, that he was born to be. And Loved his fans singing along!! Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, all contributed their own Talents! As Freddie said, "we each give 25% for our success as Queen" They are the Most Loved, Gifted, Genius Legends Throughout The World. You can't help but wonder how much more awesome music Freddie would've churned out i, f he were still alive and not ravaged by that God-awful disease. It's heartbreaking to know he was taken from us way too soon. He had so much more music in him and so much left to do in life. Here we are, 30-plus years after his passing, and it still upsets me to realize he's no longer with us. He was an icon who's music and attitude towards life got me through some really not-so-great times in my life. I feel like I'm indebted to him somehow. God bless you Freddie. Hope you're jamming in Heaven's house band with all the greats like Phil Lynott, John Bonham, Randy Rhoads, etc.

Freddie passed when I was 4 years old. Every Sunday my father would play “Queen’s” vinyl records and I remember not being such a fan of that. I didn’t realize how much that was Impacting me as a child. Today I’m 36 and Freddie Mercury is my favorite artist of all time. The more I watch his videos, interviews and performances, the more I love him. He was so real and unapologetic and the kindest person to all. So passionate about his fans and music. Queen’s first album release was July 13, 1973. Queen’s Live Aid performance was July 13, 1985. I was born July 13, 1987. I don’t know, I just feel so connected to him. I always call woman ‘Darling’ because of Freddie. I miss him.

When Freddie wasn’t preforming on stage, his way of life & all that he liked resembled someone not from the rock & roll world but more from the theater & opera! As his voice also! It’s as if Freddie contemplated early on, what can I do & how can I take my talents, use them to the best of my ability & where to use them to make myself a star! To b noticed by all! & he picked the rock genre to do it! & bcome the legend he did! As Freddie was a very intelligent man! Seemed like he planned his success all out for himself the way he wanted to live, the way he wanted to b known, during life & after life! & all worked out the way he had pictured for his success! Except for the aids that unfortunately Freddie had to endure the pain & how the terrible disease ravished his body! even @ the young age he died he obviously had a lot more living to do & more of his genus work to b made. Freddie said he wouldn’t want to live into his older yrs! But he died way to young! Still had so much more to accomplish! With a voice like no other, his musicality, & the showman no other can or will ever replace! Freddie Mercury is the legend he said he would bcome! He is not forgotten & never will b, his music & a 4man band called Queen!! ❤ Will rock on forever!!

I find the whole thing cheesy.... For years and years TV & Radio avoided Queen and Freddie and its only after Freddie died and those same people jumping on the band wagon saying "Oh Freddie is a legend of Rock N Roll.... i have been saying that from the moment i clapped eyes on him back in October 1974 on Top Of The Pops..... Freddie has something other singers don't have and its magic. He can write hit after hit he plays piano beautifully and performs on stage like he knows his the best and no one can touch him!... Queen 1971 - 1991....end off a very magical era and man.

I'm wondering if they perhaps could not obtain the rights to show the Live Aid footage.

Peter may feel a tremendous loss with Freddie’s death and I believe he genuinely loved Freddie however I also feel that he has been making money off of Freddie’s legacy.

Of course he is and Freddie was a very private man. He would have fired Freestone years before he died had he known Freestone would betray him for money and attention.
