In 2018, the members of Last in Line - Vivian Campbell, Andrew Freeman, Phil Soussan and Vinny Appice - gathered to remember their friend and former bandmate, Jimmy Bain, who passed away in 2016 while the band was on the Hysteria on the High Seas music cruise.

I just love how they honor him at every show. Phil gives a nice memorial speech before they play "Star Maker". 🌟 Glad to have seen Jimmy over the years with DIO, and LiL. RIP brother!

Great video and tribute to Jimmy Bain. I was lucky enough to have met him and jammed at a bar in North Hollywood and we did a live band karaoke version of rainbow in the dark. Such an honor to share the stage with him for a song. 🤘

Jimmy Bain has been my hero since I was a kid. Even now, it continues to shine in his chest without fading.

I love how they can just make dark jokes and laugh about it. It’s obvious they loved him and they’re just honoring his life by doing exact what he would do in that situation.

Nice Iron Maiden reference from Viv. Vivian, if you read this, know that I went to sleep to Holy Diver and Last in Line in '85/'86 when I was in 8th grade and I still love your work on those albums. Those albums meant so much to me when I was a lad. They still do. And I wept when Jimmy died.

Great to hear about and think of Jimmy Bain. Thanks for putting this out. Too many good people have left us, and it seems like we need them more than ever. I wish it weren’t so.

Big Dio fan back in the 80’s. New Haven CT I was front row on the floor .. right in front of Jimmy and Vivian. Great Bassist. RIP Jim. You guys are doing great!! Come back to Milford CT and play again soon.

Phils story about the amps in jimmy’s garage.. true stuff! i went there with Rough Cutts roadie to drop off a keyboard from Ronnies house . So jimmy asked the roadie, “Hey, is this amp buzzing?” and motions him closer, he outs his ear real close and jimmy cranks it up and bangs his bass… Lefty couldn’t hear for a week!

We met Andrew years ago, when he got his big break with Lynch Mob. I took my young son Nick to the show and Andrew made sure he had ear plugs in. Class act.

Unbelievable. Sad to hear about his death. Very surprised by news initially. My Father law died under similar circumstances. Terrible tragedy. R.I.P. Jimmy Bain. RJD has Jimmy now. Probably has Randy on lead and Peart on drums Etc

I saw one of his ladt concerts on KZfaq. He really looked bad. It was then he had cancer. It's sad that he passed away on the ship. Itsnot surprising becahe had pneumonia. That usually takes out those with cancer.

there's nothing in poor taste when you love someone enough passed on that you can still joke about them, and it's a joke you know they would be laughing at.
